- Truck Driving Classroom Instruction:A fourth of your CDL training at 160 Driving Academy of Topeka will consist of live, in-class training. This forty-hour training session is designed to give you all the knowledge you will need to successfully pass the written portion of the CDL certification exam. We will review all the rules and safety regulations that all commercial drivers must learn to follow as they complete their Class-A or Class-C training.
- On-the-Road Training: To have a successful career as a truck driver, you first need to gain some experience behind the wheel of a truck. We will spend the remaining three forty-hour weeks providing you with that experience. Our instructors will prepare you for a wide range of driving conditions, and you'll get practice driving on everything from the streets of Topeka to the interstate.
