160 was very helpful for me and my trucking journey. From day one of my initial contact with Mrs. Mckenzie and the rest of the branch was awesome. Thanks 160 of Raleigh NC.

Was the best experience with the instructors

This is my second review, I’ve successfully completed the program and obtained my CDLs. Overall I really enjoyed my time at 160, had its ups and downs but still rather enjoyable. When I first enrolled in the program I had a lot worries about my ability to grasp everything, given that I had previous experience going to a megacarriers program that I unsuccessfully completed. So I had little to no confidence that I would be able to get my license. I’m so happy that I was able to this time but I wouldn’t have been able to do it with the instructors at the Raleigh 160 especially Marty and Flo! Without them really taking the time to really help me with everything I don’t think I would have been able to do it whether it was learning how to maneuver the truck and trailer or even the pretrip. Regarding the pretrip I really gotta give it up to Marty, he really helped me out with that drilling just about every single component of that truck and trailer and especially the verbage. Despite everything that has went down at this location I was still able to learn everything I could from them and I really appreciate that. I will be giving it my all thanks to them in my new career as a truck driver, just got my first job with Roehl transport Inc that I’m about to leave for soon. Thank you thank you thank you so much Marty, Flo, and especially cici who helped me stay confident and really got me right with my driving, i didn’t particularly struggle with driving my turns just needed more work and if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have got it down. Thank you so much to everyone who was played a part in helping me obtain my CDLs!

Coming here I didn't think I was going to get it but after working with Marty and Flo they got me right!

After a few weeks (including the class and yard), I'm expecting to get my CDL-A final exam being scheduled and passed soon. Scary? No! Excited? Yes, indeed!.. Meanwhile, I'd like to thank the 160-office staff at Garner NC, and all instructors at Clayton NC Yard for doing an amazing job. I am sincerely grateful to all and everyone individually for the experience and knowledge provided and filled me up with. In addition to practical experience, DOT regulations and laws we have received, I'd like to notice that each day on the yard and/or during driving through the streets'n'highways was full of fascinating stories, real life lessons, useful remarks, tips, hints and humor. Oh, yeah! We've had the fun! Thank you, Miss Flo, Lou, Marty, Rouben, Dendry, and Ozzy! Each of you is the amazing person and great instructor! Wish you all the best! Additionally, I am grateful to my classmates for the great time spent together on the yard. World Peace and good luck on the roads, y'all!

The staff at the Raleigh NC, location are the best. The office staff will answer all your questions and assist you every step of the way through the whole registration process. The yard instructors are very experienced and knowledgeable. They are the most patient group of people you will ever meet. The whole environment, from the office to the yard is very conducive for learning and you will have your CDL and ready to hit the road with confidence. A big thank you, to all the staff at the Raleigh, NC location.

Shout out to the coaches, instructors, and staff at 160 Driving Academy (Raleigh) for all the great training and support! I was told that my test results today were " . . . the best results" the examiner " . . . had ever seen." Since I'd never driven a big rig before six weeks ago, the credit belongs to 160! (Special kudos to Shelly, Lou, Oz, and Reuben for caring enough to want to make a difference for ALL the students!)
