I can’t explain how much I appreciate all the guys at 160 !! I almost gave up because of unemployment issues and making my monthly nut .. they talked me into staying .. @51 years old and making a career change tested me greatly !! I’m glad I stuck with it and today 4/24/24 I am officially a CDL Class A Holder

The manager is good, the instructors are good & patient, they gave us plenty of time to practice unlike other schools, I know this because I'm now training w/ a big trucking company & my workmates have bad stories about their driving schools.

Absolutely an incredible experience! At first, it’s intimidating, not going to lie. Show up, do the work and study at night what you learned during the day. Darryl in the office is always helpful & the guys in the yard: Vinny, John, Jason & Charlie are all gentlemen. They’re not there to “baby” you, we’re all big boys & girls now, and that’s how they treat you. They’ll answer any question you have- believe me, I’ve asked quite a few. Pay attention carefully because the classroom and yard work go faster than you think! Good luck to all!!

I would recommend 160 in Sussex co. NJ, my entire exp went nice and smooth. It starts with Darryl inside for your classroom time and all paperwork/scheduling things and that all went smooth he did what he said he would do when he said he would do it, was very friendly and answered any questions I had along the way. After the classroom part is done you head out to the yard and meet John, Vinny, Jason and Charlie. They all have their part they do and are all friendly as well as ready to help you and answer any questions you may have at any time. Most of my yard time was spent with Charlie in the manual transmission truck. My experience with Charlie was good. He showed me and taught me what I needed to know, if I was doing something wrong he would show/teach me the correct way of doing it. If somebody needed more time with something, he would make sure they got what they needed in order to achieve their goal. The way it is set up everybody works together and helps each other students and teachers for me that worked out well, I passed my written and endorsements on the first try, as well as the pre-trip and driving on the first attempt. As long as you apply yourself and give it your best the guys at 160 Sussex, will do their best to help you succeed.
