Great hands on driving school
I had a great time working with the instructors especially Aaron who I was with majority of the time, very detailed methods was being taught to put me in the best position to be successful! If you are dedicated to being successful and getting your CDL then they are dedicated to helping you earn it but you have to be willing to listen and break bad habits. You will also meet some cool people that’s on the same mission as you which could possibly be friends built that will continue on in the trucking world.

First and Done
It was an amazing experience. 160 driving academy is the best place for anybody that wants to get their CDL. I just want to give a special thanks to Patrick. He thought me everything i needed to know for my skills or maneuvering since my first week in my training that leads me to getting my CDL in just 1 attempt. Helped me a lot. Also thank you for all the instructor that has been helped and guided me all through out the training.. taylor, derrick, AJ, John, Curtis and i wish i could remember the name of the two instructor in Bluff Road so i can include both of them. They're too nice to me during my refreshing day. They both believed in me. Once again thank you so much for all the help. You guys rock 🤟🏼
I just got my CDL!
I feel that my trainers gave me enough information to confidently take and pass my CDL test. They were very receptive to my questions and needs, and they adjusted their teaching styles to make sure I was getting the most out of my education. My instructors were also extremely personable. I felt that I could come to them with questions or concerns and I knew they’d, at the very least, hear me out. I was excited to get up and go to school every day! Huge thank you to Spoon, Ralph, Mike, and Pete. I couldn’t have done this without you :)
Great experience
Just would like to thank all of the instructors at the Indianapolis location. After failing my cdl test 2 times not once did they give up on me. The third time I finally passed. Thanks to 160 I have a life changing experience for me and my family to look forward to .
160 Driving Academy Awesomeness
My experience was exceptional!! Jasmine, who is the School Instructor was very thorough and hands on with all of her students. Rob, who is the Yard Instructor really took his time with showing us the dynamics to handling 18 wheelers. Most importantly, he allowed us all the time in the world to get comfortable with driving. I truly am appreciative of this opportunity and want to thank 160 Driving Academy.
Not Just Great Yard Instructors But Great People!
Honestly I can't begin to explain how thankful I am to have been put in The Joliet yard with Tim, Lori, Andre, Curtis, Maria, Dave, and Rich. They never gave up on me even when i struggled and always motivated me when I felt down about my mistakes. I'm extremely happy I chose 160 for this journey. I recommend the Joliet yard to anyone who wants to get their CDL. Thank you so much Joliet yard!

I definitely had a memorable experience!! Kent, tyson and Tom are the best instructors ever!!! If it wasnt for their patience and dedication i don't know if i could’ve seen it through !!! I’m very grateful for my experience and i loved it !
Update!!
I recently wrote a review of bad experience I had with the school and since then the instructors rectified the issue. When I started the yard portion of trucking school, I started with Glenn and he was very informative. Towards the end of my class I had instructors Z and Bryon. There was some confusion with my testing date but Z and Bryon made it possible for me to get scheduled to test, prepare for testing the day before and I passed my test on the first attempt. Big thanks to Scott as well for making it all happen. I appreciate Z for giving us exposure to real time traffic situations in the city that we will most definitely encounter out when driving. I was very comfortable the day of testing, there were 3 students testing that day and we all passed. Very grateful for these guys.

Wanna thank everyone at this academy for the efforts they put in getting students like me trained in the trucking industry, Carlos great instructor, Bryan, Rambo , OG Glen, miss Tam , Zah , an Josh wanna thank you guys for everything I learned being there , just recommend 2of my co workers to start with this academy, the results is walking out with your CDL , bless up yuh self training crew , Wah Gwan !!!!!!
