160 driving academy in Peoria,I highly recommend this school.I started when the covid 19 hit n everything closed down.when i came back i struggle with alot of things but they never gave up on me.they stood by my side n work hard with me to ensure my sucess.if it wasnt for their dedication n caring about me success i wont have made it.so today i want to thank all of them forn never giving up on me. My experience at 160 driving academy was awesome. Met with a lot of great people and the instructors are one the best out there hands down. I learned a lot within those 4 weeks. If you are looking to get your CDL class A. This is the place to go. They will not let you down they will make sure you will pass.

160 driving academy is a great school to get your cdl at.. instructors are dedicated and determined to teach every student to be able to pass your exam. even if times get rough, instructors are very understandable and flexible and wont quit on ya!!

Great experience
I started 160 Driving Academy thanks to losing my job due to COVID-19. After my first week in class and obtaining my permit I went to the yard to meet my instructors. Derek and Darnell were great at explaining things and walking you through how things should be done. They make you feel comfortable when you get behind the wheel. The first time we hit the road I was nervous but they made sure I stayed on track mentally to keep the truck operating safely. As the weeks went on I honed in my skills and was ready for my actual test. When that time came I couldn’t stop pacing waiting for my time to test. Derek and Darnell sat back and chuckled asking me what I was so worried about. They knew I was more than ready to test and be on my way. They pulled me aside and calmed me down. And I passed on my first try! I went back to the yard to thank them for everything. I’m glad I chose 160 as my driving school because after graduating they will help with job placement.

All the instructors were completely amazing work very hard with esch student and help them overcome their weakness. I personally got to thank Jim, Mark and Doc for having patience with me and showing me way to become a super trucker.

The staff at Joliet, Crest Hill and South Holland were amazing and extremely patient with everyone!! Highly recommend!! Whether a new student or a refresher course, this is the place to do it!!
Milwakee 160 driving academy
Agata is very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process of getting your cdl. If you have a question that she does not know, she is very good at getting back to you with an answer in a reasonable time. Plus all the instructors in the yard, Jim, Terry, Jorge were always doing their best to teach you the skills portion in a very repetitive friendly way. Pre-trip is done every morning and you will have it memorized by the time you take your test if you show up everyday and pay attention. Road time was a little limited while I was there but it wasn't because of 160, just some uncontrollable things made it more challenging to get time in cause of Covid 19 and truck breakdowns, new drivers take their toll on a million mile trucks. However, this school does a great job trying to get you in and out in 4 weeks if your dedicated and show up everyday. It is what you make of it.
It was a really great experience
I thought that agatha was amazing at getting all the documents submitted in a timely fashion. I seriously loved the way that the instructors differed in their teaching methods, they did a great job of teaching me that way I had a very easy time passing my driving test.
