Thumbs up for 160
After a rollercoaster ride, I finally obtained my CDL through 160 Driving School, Springfield, MO branch. Jory Hardin was a very lovely person from day one till I obtained my CDL. Donna Scott, a very awesome fellow, held on when things got a little bit challenging at the training site. she made sure every student got his/her fair share of the training, then Lori joined the force. Today, I have my CDL, thanks to these 3 great guys. Thumbs up to you, guys. 160 Driving School is surely a school I recommend for anyone interested in in becoming a professional truck, Driver. I can't wait for my first road experience. Cheers!!!

10/10 Recommend
I highly recommend this program if you’re looking to get your CDL. Lead instructor Chad and his yard instructors Randy, and Shawn are very experienced in getting you prepped for your CDL. The instructors keep good structure in the class room and the yard portion to make sure you will pass the first time.
Great experience!!!
My experience with 160 has been fantastic. The instructors, Don and Chris, in Charleston, WV, were incredibly helpful, patient, friendly, and professional. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested!
One and Done!
Loved the whole experience. From the recruiter to the yard instructors, there was help and assistance throughout. Smooth sailing to get your CDL. They are there to help you get there and safely. One and done club baby.
160 Grit Crew 4-Life!
Dear 160 CDL Driving Academy, I would like to acknowledge the 160 Driving Academy (Palos Hills, IL) / 160 CDL-Training Yard (Harvey, IL) branches, for their impeccable strategy, training techniques and unwavering diligence of standing by everyone of their students who go through their courses. As a recent graduate of the 160 Driving Academy and recipient of the “One and Done” Club Award, an extinguished honor, for not having to redo any portion of the test and passing it on the first attempt. I surprised myself, and couldn't believe how well I did on testing day. Having no prior CDL training and suffering from test anxieties for as long as I can remember. I'm proud to say it was not luck, but the acquired skills that got me through it. I was like WOW, I did that! I would also like to give a shout-out to the Branch manager - Julie Mensching for going above and beyond for all her candidates, you truly have a “Heart of Gold”! Also, to the 160 Harvey Yard managers and Instructors. Who, regardless of rain, sleet or snow kept us focused, warm and safe in below freezing temps this winter season of 2025. As a Veteran of the US Armed Forces, I salute you for not leaving any man/woman behind. You sat in the trenches with your troops, regardless of the conditions. I commend you all, for you are the epitome of what a truck driving school should be modeled by. In conclusion, 160 Driving Academy encouraged me to believe in myself once again and to understand the importance of staying studious and focused regardless of past misfortunes and/or circumstances. Thanks again for the opportunity to procure a moment in life filled with personal growth, career advancement and a chance to achieve life long happiness via on-the-road success. I want all of you to know that you have my deepest and sincerest gratitude. As for my 2025 Graduating class, 160 Grit Crew, 4-life! Sincerely Antonio Aguirre A/K/A “The Doctor” P.S. Additional Honors and Acknowledgments go to Ms. Ware -IDES of Burbank, Ms. Del Valle - American Job Centers at RJD Colleges and Uncle Sam - the U.S. Department of Labor for their WIOA Grant Program. Thanks for your collaborative efforts, putting me one step closer to securing a career in transportation.

my experience at Monroe campus
I'm pretty sure all locations has great instructors but that might be an understatement compared to what I experienced at Monroe campus it always felt like home everyone was great not only did my instructor teach me the ropes in LESS than a week.. every instructor is always open to anyone asking questions trying to sharpen their skills ! I passed my test because I actually LEARNED how to drive these trucks along with other student who were with other instructors they improved so fast it was amazing and they'll always be considered family!
