Love love love this place!
Everyone genuinely cares about you and getting you through. You develop personal connections with everyone there. Steve is an amazing yard lead and is perfect for finishing you up. Kelly is excellent to drive with, he pushes you to accomplish things you didn't expect to be able to do. Rocky is excellent with maneuvers, he teaches you how to fix your mistakes and encourages you to make them so you learn. And Alex, the pre-trip guy, does an amazing job with encouraging you and helping you learn the pre-trip. Kim, the branch manager, is incredibly helpful, and encourages you through the entire process. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this place. You won't regret coming here.
Greatness
My experience at 160 was great, everyone was super nice to work with. The instructors were right to the point. I came in here with zero experience ever driving a manual or driving with a trailer, I passed today after 4 weeks with ease. I couldn't be more thankful!
Above and beyond
Experience was a 10/10 there were certain points where I felt like this wasn't for me and it wouldn't work out but the instructors kept me leveled headed and really worked with me to get confidence and understand everything I needed to know

The Best Trucker School Ever!!!!
These are the best instructors ever. If they can teach me how to pass these tests, they can teach anyone. I passed my CDL on the second try and it's all because of Kim, Kelly, Alex, Rocky and Steve. They all genuinely care about everyone that comes through the door and they let you know it. Some are nice about it, others can be rough but they all care deeply about everyone getting their CDLs. I can't say enough about the 160 Drive Team. Alex makes sure you know your Pre-Trip and In-Cab information, Kelly and Rocky make sure you know your Drive and maneuvers with precision and Steve and Kim are like the parents making sure everything runs smoothly. These people are amazing and if you're considering truck driving in the Evansville area, don't hesitate to contact them. They're the best.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about 160 Driving academy! Everybody from administration to all the instructors are just amazing people! They set you up to pass all the exams and driving tests with flying colors! Don’t waste your money on any other driving school because 160 Driving Academy is the one to choose!
GO TO 160
160 is the school to go to. All the staff is super helpful. Kim will forever be school mom, she takes care of you and makes sure you're comfortable. Steve Rocky Kelly and Alex are hilarious and super informative. Glad I chose this route.
