Great school to attend!

School was great and very fun. This course was quick, to the point, fun and produced a one and done test from me! Its only as hard as you want it to be.

No Complaints

My experience was better than I thought it would be. Appreciate my instructors: Jesse, Doug, Andy, and Ms. Tiffany. DOT AND CLEARING HOUSE guidelines explained and implemented during class hours. Great guidance on how to perform pre-trip inspections, double clutching, downshifting(it’s very important), parking, and safely adjusting to city and highway traffic! If your looking for a amazing CDL experience 160 is the route to go!

Peoria IL 160 Gets You There

Getting my CDL by attending 160 Driving Academy was a great experience. First off speaking with Tiffany about the classroom and then the driving she was spot on how and what you could expect. She was very knowledgeable and professional. After the week of class I went to the DMV and tested for my permit which I felt well prepared for from the classroom learning. I passed the written test and went on to learn how to drive a truck for the next four weeks. Doug and Jay were instructors for teaching this part. During this part I highly recommend not only learning from the instructors but work with the other classmates practicing what is being taught for pre-trip inspection. Doug and Jay were not only professional and knowledgeable about teaching how to do the pre-trip and drive. I felt safety was always on their minds. The whole experience went by with a feeling I was learning about preparing for testing to get my CDL and starting a new career. My plan from the beginning was to find a part time job since I am retired. Well, I can honestly say I have not had a problem finding work. I could drive full-time with no problem hauling asphalt, gravel, sand, etc. I even called Tiffany and Doug, letting them know how companies are looking for drivers. One other thing is that several of us from the class have become friends and stay in contact with each other. They also say how they are enjoying their new career.

Best decision I ever made

I am very impressed with every one that played a part in me obtaining the completion of my cdl license. It was a lot of information to soak in at once. Every time I felt discouraged I was given the extra support that kept me going. I would recommend that you choose 160 Driving Academy if you are interested in obtaining your cdl whether you want to drive locally or over the road. 160 Driving Academy is the way to go. Thank you to all who has played apart of my journey.

Jay, Doug and Andy were all awesome! got me through the test on the first try and so did everyone else I saw that tested while i was there. Great school!

I enjoyed my time with 160 academy. All the way from working with Tiffany to get enrolled, to my class teacher, and also Doug and Jay in the yard. I definitely recommend this program to gain your CDL drivers license.
