It is what YOU make it!

I had a great time while attending the school. I made a lot of amazing people instructors and students both included. Trucks weren’t the best, but they were well maintained and that’s what counts! The instructors show tough love which I think will help a lot of people out here on the road, the road isn’t the nicest place and some of these drivers aren’t the nicest people. Leave your feelings at home and come in with an open mindset. The yard was kind of packed with students and there was a very high student to instructor ratio, but if there weren’t students coming in and wasting time then there would be room for new students. Overall the staff was exceptional! I appreciate everyone I dealt with from Greg the yard manager to Sharese my branch manager, everyone had a great spirit! They all had one common goal and that was to make sure you got your license and got on the road. Thanks for a dream come true 160!

I had a Great experience with the School and all the instructors here help you out to the fullest, Ewelina was awesome And A very very great help I give the school 5 stars

160 driving school

Everyone was very nice and respectful. Instructors help You get the job done. If you are at the Chicago heights location Mrs Johnson is incredible. All around good school would definitely recommend.

Great School

I want to say that I had a great time with 160 Driving Academy. Starting with the first week of online training in the Chicago Heights Location, it was smooth, no complains, the front desk lady was always helpful. After passing my Permit test and moving onto the South Holland Yard for training, every instructor in there knows what they are doing and help you understand what you are learning. A great shoutout to Greg, Shamika, Tim, Antonio, and the rest of the instructors at the South Holland Yard. The reason why I gave it a 4 stars is because of the amount of students that are in that specific yard. This is no fault to the South Holland Yard but more for the people above them. When I came in I asked what the instructor to student ratio was and I was told 1 instructor to 4 students. The first day at the yard it was 1 instructor to 11 students. We would stand and wait for 2 hours just to drive for 10 minutes in the straight back. As of today I did notice that there are new instructors and they will be opening a Lansing Yard to help ease the amount of students that go to the South Holland Yard for training. This is good for the instructors on the South Holland yard because it will mean smaller groups per each instructor. Perhaps 160 Corporate did see that South holland was overloaded of students which is good, but my experience was rated a 4 star due to what I went through in the 1 month that I was there .

160 is the best

One of the best decisions that I’ve made in my life was coming thru the 160 Driving Academy. I enjoyed every single bit of it!

I would like to thank everyone, in general, at 160 and Instructors Greg, Antonio, and Shameeka, in particular at the Yard for their there professionalism, knowledge and excellent tutelage. They go above and beyond to ensure every students has all the help and assistance they need to succeed. I thank them for making it fun and exciting and I look forward to my new career!!! And lest I forget...thank you Sharese for being so helpful and informative and always having a smile and something nice to say even at 7:30 am!
