Branch Manager Joe did a great job of working around my complicated schedule to get me in as fast as he could and was there through every phase, I recommend the Milwaukee Branch. At the yard most of my dealings were with Jim the lead and Jack one of the head instructors. I believe they worked hard to get me the tools I needed to pass the exam and get me into employment which is the goal. Jack was especially instrumental in giving me step by step instruction and then how to troubleshoot when things don't go as planned, bad set ups, mistakes, etc...which is invaluable as nothing ever goes as we plan, I think she would make a great lead instructor as well. Jim works his butt off to do what he can for you but this is where my honesty comes in and I feel I would be doing an injustice by not mentioning this, there seems to be a very large disconnect between upper management and yard needs. Trucks were broke 100% of the time, not near enough instructors for the amount of students, and new students just kept pouring in overwhelming the entire class, I feel I would have been done with the class a month earlier had that not been going on. I will say they have made huge strides and improvements to help future students, hiring more instructors, and buying new trucks, and this is the only reason I am willing to give it 5 stars still. I do feel the school is now in a much better position to grow and take on students then when I started. Overall a great learning experience and value for the money.
I was amazed by how much I would have to learn, in such a short amount of time. 160 driving academy not only makes it easy to learn the knowledge, but to retain it, as well! I especially want to thank Joe Suedbeck! He answered every question, I threw at him, in a way that I could understand! I am definitely going to recommend this school/class to anyone interested in obtaining their CDL!

I just wanted to really thank Agatha from oak creek,wi 160 for never giving up on me,i doubted myself many times,but she always trusted me,after a long journey i finally got my CDL😁 160 driving academy is the best and Agatha herself makes you feel appreciated!!! The people at 160 took my by my hand and introduced me to a new word I was very afraid but today I have confidence and the skills to be a great truck driver and Agata in oak creek is the best I strongly recommend if u want to make real money call Agata at 414-828-0160.
From my first conversation with Joe to my last day w/the instructors - it was all a positive learning experience. Joe arranged financing and paperwork and then the instructors took over. During my first week at 160 Driving Academy, Jamell said they wouldn't give up on us as long as we didn't give up on ourselves. They kept their word. I didn't know anything at all about a truck, much less driving it! But all the instructors (Jamell, Terry, Mike, Jorge, and Jim) used everything they had to teach me - and they did a great job at it! Each instructor found a way to teach what I needed to know - from pretrip to skills to driving. They didn't give up on me, even when I wanted to give up on myself. Thank you all!
Best part of my experience at 160 other then of course getting my CDL was a chance to work with Agata, I believe she would be considered the recruiter/coordinator. Worked with me and my schedule to help ensure there where no issues completing the class. The instructors did very well with their jobs, only had a personality clash with one of them, but even so they all make sure you are well educated for your CDL exam and prepared to go on a mentorship with your future job. They also are 100% willing to help set you up with your next employer through a form of job placement. Thank you 160 for giving me the time to acquire my CDL.
My experience with 160 was fun and overall was a great school to come to so I can get my cdl. All the instructors had different techniques and I had fun in class.. Jamell and Terry were fun working with and I learned a lot from day one...
