Please send Trucks!

My instructors at the San Bernardino campus were awesome. Despite the lack of trucks, and breakdowns they were able to provide enough instruction to help me get my CDL. Please send more trucks to the San Bernardino campus, most people learn by doing and not everyone can do this job. Special thanks to Daniel, JoJo, Josue, Juan, and Antonio, couldn't have made it without yall.

1 year ago went to 160 Driving Academy San Bernardino

Well, it's been one year now since I went to 160 Driving Academy at San Bernardino. I completed the course, got my CDL on my first attempt and 3 days later began working as a OTR Long Haul Truck Driver. My Lead Instructor Lori & her team were fantastic. There are a great group of Instructors. I personally worked with Tracy, Daniel, Jo Jo, Tony and Matt took me to the CDL test at Fontana. Lookong back now, it was a blazing hot summer but probably one of the best times of my life. We, the students, we're all new to this and there was so much to learn. I made a big commitment to myself on doing this, going forward and not looking back. I actually quit working to go to my 160 Driving Academy during the month of June nonstop, uninterrupted and to finish it. I did finish it, got my CDL and gratefully hired byva local company 3 days after I got my CDL. I'm on the road as I write this review. It definitely was one of my greatest experiences of my life. I would like to always keep that fresh, new, young spirited feeling of being a new driver. Kinda of like keeping that new car smell always. I run all 48 states and earn a really good living. Opportunities are endless in this trucking business. I've had the chance to visit and see family and friends throughout the country. 160 Driving Academy was definitely without doubt worth the investment. I can honestly say that if you are honesty committed and really want this then 169 Driving Academy is the road ahead. Its a very casual school, down to earth people, not complicated and shouldn't be. Hey, it's truck driving. It's simple, it's fun and a great job. Don't make it difficult or overthink it. I looked high and low and read reviews on so many schools. 160 Driving Academy is priced right, local offices everywhere and a national recognized brand in the business. I succeeded at 160 Driving Acadmy and you can too. See you on the road!

Good times

I recently received my class A license through 160 academy, I have to say that what a great group of instructors I had the pleasure dealing with, everyone was so full of knowledge, and was very willing to share it it in great detail, and if they didn't have the answer, they were quick to get it. I would like to give a shout out to Paul in the front office for all the information he gave me through the whole process, and in the yard a big shout out to my instructors, Matt, Ruben, Jojo, and especially Jonyea who I worked with the most, it was a great experience and lots of hard work, but, the feeling of accomplishing something so big and important in my life, well, today it was all worth it, I would 100% recommend 160 driving academy to anyone interested in making truck driving their career, thank you once again 160!!!!!!

AS far as Schools go, I appreciate them

I was looking around for different trucking schools and wanted to get with one that was affordable and as well well reviewed, move forward and found 160 Driving Academy. I walked in slightly nervous taking on a new adventure but Paul was warm and welcoming and from there got me started. Move forward to the yard and had three instructors Matt, Luis, another instructor. All three helped me tremendously into getting my way to learning to shift for the first time, to doing different maneuvers with the truck including parking different ways. All in all I appreciate it and recommend others to go with 160, the time on the yard will be greatly remembered and again I appreciate everyone that help my future endeavors possible. If you ask questions and apply yourself they will help you to get where you need to get. Hope this was helpful. -Sebastian (current CDL holder) =D

The 160 way

From beging to end. My experience at 160 driving academy was smooth and something compared to a walk in the park. Once I received my permit and made my way to the yard I knew just like

The 160 way

As I walked in to meet Paul Lundin at 160 Driving Academy I noticed one thing right away. Paul made it easy to believe by his character alone that I was going to successively attain my commercial driver's license. He was there to help and I didn't have a doubt in my mind. The positivity in his words made me surrender any space for doubt I previously had in my mind about passing my behind the wheel test after completing the program. All of the staff and instructors made sure to answer all my questions and help me at every turn. Now I am a class A driver and very and very thankful to them. Word if advice. Use every minute of your time practicing your pre-trip whether you think you memorize it or not it will save you at the DMV. Stay away from the students that are there just to talk and pay attention to instructors at every moment they have something to say. All the help is there, all you have to do is take it and use it. Thanks again Paul and to my instructors.
