Great atmosphere! Great instructors! Very knowledgeable, fun, and professional! They made it easy, and who wouldn't appreciate that! AMAZING EXPERIENCE
When I decided to get my CDL-A, I went around the city trying to find a good trucking school. I found couple of them, but decided to go with 160 Driving Academy, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. The theoretical classes are simple, clear and easy to understand. The tutors’ knowledge helps to clarify any question. I say a big Thank you to Chris (from office) for all the prompt support and clarifications. Really appreciated. But what I really enjoyed and loved the most was the driving classes. Before anything, one huge thank you to instructor Zac. Very patient, always clear explaining, and gives you the confidence you need to drive with confidence. He knows exactly what his student issues are and promptly helps them to overcome them. That’s why most of my colleagues and I, went to the DMV, and we got it all done in a day. Thank you so much Zac. Keep it up sir. I recommend them, surely you won’t regret it. And thank me later 👌🏾👌🏾

Im a student that recently graduated from 160 drive.from Kathy,Roy,Fred and Jason gave all the information I needed to be successful. I strongly recommend 160 drive in Evansville. I learned so much and had so much fun doing so.

The experience of CDL training was not what I initially expected. There was more "self study" than "hands on" training, but I later realized that talking with other students about what we were learning from the instructors actually helped in memorizing what we were being taught. The instructors each have their own quirks or mannerisms in how they teach, which does occasionally rub some students the wrong way but they need to remember that the instructors are their to teach them, not baby them. I mean, they taught an introverted guy (who deals with ADD and occasional bouts of anxiety) well enough to pass the driving exam on the first attempt, so that's gotta be saying something!

I highly recommend this company. Starting a career change can feel overwhelming, but these three men in the Billings location made the entire process so much easier for me. When I didn’t have the funds to get started, Ed immediately stepped in with resources and information I didn’t even know my local Job Service offered. His support alone removed a huge barrier. From day one, David (instructor) showed us that he was committed to making sure we were truly prepared. On the first day of class, he asked a student to start with a full pre-trip inspection, and in that moment I knew he cared about readiness and real-world expectations. David took extra steps to prepare us—he went above and beyond when it came to teaching skills, shifting, and getting us ready for the road test. His patience and dedication made learning to drive a truck feel manageable and even exciting. Randy (instructor) challenged us in the best way possible. You never knew when he would have you hop into the truck and perform the entire pre-trip from start to finish. Both he and David took the time to teach us everything we needed to know: working on skills, practicing shifting, understanding the truck, and preparing for the road test. Their consistent push to stay ready kept us sharp and confident. Because of them, I felt completely ready. They believed in me, and I trusted that if they said I was doing well, it was true—because they never hesitated to tell you honestly when something needed work. Their confidence, high standards, and genuine support made all the difference. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide me through this new chapter.

Had a great experience all around from the class room to the yard. Big thanks to Heath for getting me signed up and in classes as soon as possible. I also especially wanna thank Rob and Ms. Lisa for being great yard instructors, they made everything as simple as possible and got me through my test. I’ll definitely recommend 160 driving academy to anyone who wishes to pursue a cdl career!!
