So when I began my process Galinda at 160 office helped me out right away with signing up and my grant the process went very smoothly and within a week of filing out my grant I was in the classroom. Then after the classroom it was to the yard where I met the instructors Denise, Kendal, and Denis. Denise is the lead instructor and right away she helped me understand things easier I'm more of a visual learner and was having problems remembering things after telling Denise she offered to make a video for me to study off of and right away I was remembering things faster. Kendal was also a great instructor she helped me with my skills and without her guidence I would of been lost but she right away spotted my problem and corrected it the same day I was doing my skills properly . Last but not least Denis , so Denis was vital in me passing the final test he is a very even kealed person ,nerves of steel when doing something wrong in the truck he would calmly let you no what you were doing wrong and correct it without making you feel like you were the worst driver.To me Galinda,Denise,Kendal,and Denis are life savers they have opened the door for me to be successful and prosperous in the future so thankyou to you all.

One of the best schools for learning how to drive CDL trucks. Classes are small and plenty of time in trucks to learn what you need to aquire your CDL license.

Everything about 160 schooling was great. The classroom part was informative, fun, and engaging. I was very prepared for my permit test. After getting my permit and moving on to the yard, It was a great experience. The instructors were nothing sure of amazing people who made sure that the students learn everything they need to know to get their cdl. I highly recommend this school!
Excellent Experience
I just completed my CDL class A training. Really didn't know what to expect. The training I received was excellent. All questions answered to the fullest. Never left a day without an answer. I checked out a lot of truck driving schools. In my opinion, 160 Driving Academy is by far the best. A special thanks to, Janie, Dwane, Steve, and Dave! The way they all work as a team to get students the skills needed to pass the CDL testing is top notch. Then to help with job placement from multiple nation wide companies is above and beyond the others. Can't thank 160 enough. It's onwards and upwards from here with my new career. AAAAA+++++
Great instruction
I had a great experience with 160 in Stockton. A bit challenging for me but I passed! My instructor Dave was there to help me with all my challenges along the way. A great coach/mentor. Made my learning experience easier.

I work for Amazon and 160 Driving Academy has trained all of our drivers here in Arizona . I just finished this week and took my driving test and passed first try. All the instructors were beneficial to my success. Miss Jackie , Corey , Jason, Lester And others All of them had different scenarios and examples that were very beneficial me an my crew All of the students that were attending got along great with each other as well. I strongly recommend anyone wanting a CDL in the Phx area go to 160 Driving Academy. They build you for success starting day 1 an it’s fun while you learn my new family thank you .
Fantastic Place To Learn
My experience started by being introduced to Darryll over the phone. He is an absolute pleasure to talk and deal with. He educated me on what will be expected and what will be the outcome. I am a highly motivated individual and the instructors and team helped me understand and get my CDL Class A. They are all very professionally and courteously. They all made it fun even though it was very hot outside in Phoenix, AZ right now. You get plenty of practice time in the combination vehicles to learn your pretrip, skills and over the road driving. I want to give a shout out to Darryl and his team Corey, Jackie, Rasheed, Lester and Jason. This team of instructors feel more like family than teachers. They will be missed but I will definitely keep in contact. They helped me take a huge step forward in life. Never will forget and always will recommend the Phoenix branch of 160 Driving Academy. Great School!
160 Driving Academy in Springfield, Illinois is an amazing school. The instructors Steve and Duane at the yard are very professional and really care about their students and their well being. They also manage to keep it fun at the same time! It’s not a dry learning environment whatsoever. The classroom training is great and very straightforward! The manager, Janie is awesome and keeps your paperwork in working order and works very well with you!
