I took in person classes at the Syracuse location ALL instructors were knowledgeable they all have their own unique spin on things which is helpful as what works for one may not work for the other! They did a great job mixing groups up with newer vs more experienced students so you can learn from your peers as well. They were great about letting you come in to practice before your road test as well. I am also taking hazmat class threw 160 and just want to point out that here in NY the process is a little different then outlined in the email.. I signed up online threw the email for tsa screening and was told when I got to my apt that I was signed up for the federal testing not the New York State testing and had to reschedule and the cost is 171 not 86. Not 160 fault just a heads up for anyone else in NY otherwise check out 160 they’re great for learning to drive and the instructors in Syracuse all drove before and have for 20+ years so they know what it’s like not just talking at you!! Thank You to the Syracuse team!!

Dave and Ivy were the best teachers! They taught me everything I needed to know and were very patient and supportive through out my training. I would recommend anybody who lives close to Spokane to go through this company.

Instructors were all great and did a good job with explaining and teaching all of the different things you’ll need to know to pass all of your tests.
Life Changing
CDL school and the driving portion is definitely a miniature boot camp that was well worth every second. Graduated with new friends, new skills, and a manual CDL license..time to hit the road!
Learning experience and career goals
Prior to meeting Sam the manager at 160 and getting the opportunity to build a career I worked at a warehouse. Came with no experience and never drove a truck, they gave me all the experience I needed. I was excited to use the big equipment and having to be cautious in the truck. Everyone together was really helpful. Job opportunities were given when I graduated so I can choose what I WANT to do.
David and Ivy Cotton
160 driving academy in Mead WA was an outstanding experience. If anyone is wanting to get their CDL dont even look anywhere else. From the time i talked with Crystal at the classroom branch, to the driving instructor’s, David and Ivy at the yard I having nothing but praise and gratitude for my time there. David and Ivy have outstanding knowledge and maybe more important, patience with not only myself but all the students. I cant thank them enough, getting my CDL was very important to me, they made me feel welcome, knowledgeable, and confident. Thank you so much
Instructor Roman (Albuquerque)
I just completed my hours and just want to give thanks to instructor Roman. He is a great instructor, not only is he a great teacher but he cares about each and every one of his students. His patience and passion about what he does makes the learning experience so much easier. He wasn’t the lead instructor when I was there but I believe he should be. Many other students that I have talked to there all agree that Roman should be the lead. He truly deserves that role and I hope he gets it! Thank you 160 and thank you Roman!!

Best Choice
Had an amazing experience with Jeff from the lebanon location. Very thorough with his methods and went above and beyond expectations to make sure I understood how to operate trucks safely and efficient! Also the other instructors Dave and Pete were helpful and awesome to interact with. Very nice crew!
