Best instructors in the nation
Great class, fun times, a lot of laughs didn’t always have trucks but the instructors made up for the poor corporate management not getting trucks available would 100% recommend coming to the flint location just for the instructors alone.
CDL School with Great Reputation
It was a great experience for me. The school's integrity is enough for me to pick 160 driving academy as my CDL school. I graduated with flying colors. Passed all the test 1st time because of my great instructor and great people at 160 Driving Academy. I definitely recommend them.

Great job
Great job no sick time for your hourly workers. However. Ones whom are not qualified. Get unlimited money and unlimited pto. Yet never seem to get any work done, and remains on the 160 payroll , which spit in others faces. Pay attention run from this company as a student and as a employee, because their several individual who purposely set you up for failure .
Awesome Instructors!
Im going to start out by thanking Rob and Miss Lisa in the yard. They are top grade instructors. They put everything you need to know in a simplified way thats quite easy to catch on to. Its ben quite a journey but I enjoyed everything second of me time with Mr Rob and Miss Lisa and 160 Driving Academy as a whole. Very straightforward path to my CDL that ill always remember for life. Would highly recommend 160 to anyone.
Great CDL Learning Experience
One of the best learning experiences i’ve experienced in a class. The staff is very hands on with everything. They will teach and demonstrate everything you need to obtain your CDL. As long as you have the effort to want to learn then everything will be fine. I would rate my experience 10 stars if i could. Overall I would highly recommend 160 Driving Academy to anyone that wants to start trucking school.
Get your CDL
Great place to get your CDL from in the Waukegan location. The instructors and the rest of the staff were all great in helping with anything i needed. Especially Donna, she was such a great help and ver knowledgeable from explaining the cost breakdown to getting my permit, DOT physical, and drug test. Any questions or concerns I had she was able to answer for me. The instructors were great too all very knowledgeable and many years of experience between all of them. They were all very nice and friendly and made things easy to understand. They all offered different perspectives from their different work experiences to be able to show you different ways of looking at things. Very easy to understand and great especially when it came to learning to drive manual for the first time in my life, they knew how to tell you what you're doing wrong and how to correct it. Over all I had a great experience and was able to pass and get my cdl in one shot when it came to test day! I would one hundred percent recommend this place to anyone wanting to get their cdl, and if you have any questions or concerns reach out to Donna at the Waukegan location.

Great place to get your cdl from. The instructors and restaurant of the eatfg were great in helping with anything i needed. Especially Donna she was a great help and very knowledgeable with everything that I needed, from explaining the cost breakdown to dealing with the DOT physical and drug test. The training in the yard was great, learned to drive a manual for the first time in my life, and the instructors were great letting me know where and how to improve my shifting. It was great seeing the instructors with all their experience doing the backing maneuvers like they're just backing a regular truck. Every single instructor had their own point of view and gave great advise from their ownexperience

First, I would like to start off by saying, if you want to make more money and have a better career, then getting a Class A CDL is the way to go. I absolutely 100% recommend getting your CDL training through 160 Driving Academy. Per my experience, the trainers and staff were very accommodating, experienced, and knowledgeable, which will definitely help you to succeed and accomplish your goals of getting a Class A CDL.
