Before 160 I did hard work in the agriculture and construction industry. I needed a new career path, I was tired of being laid off and looking into CDL training, felt this could be a great career for me. I visited 160, met Sam who helped me connect with Ca Human Development who gave me the opportunity to train here. I probably wouldve given up due to costs had it not been for the resources Sam shared and CHD was very helpful. I want to thank 160 for this life changing opportunity to start a new career. I also want to thank the yard staff who gave me the training I appreciate Arturo and Rick, Blair who motivated me to not give up. They are easy going and want to see students succeed. I couldn't have asked for better instructors. I got my taskers endorsement, Sam the branch manager met with me and set me up with two jobs 1 temporary so I can earn money now and another for a longterm career opportunity using my tankers. Thank you 160 again for this opportunity
The best experience
I want to start off by saying thank you to Miss Chevelon and Miss Danya for the wonderful experience that I encountered when I came inside the school for the first time. They were so helpful loving and supportive about my new journey that I was about to take on. Also thank you to the guys at the yard which is Mitch, Jeremy, Joey, and Eddie those guy are very supportive and hands on with their students I have learned a lot from them about being a wonderful truck driver. I would recommend my friends and family to this school. Thank you for the wonderful experience and time that I had at the school. Much respect……
Passed my cdl!
I wanna thank all the students I was with during my time at 160. Most importantly I wanna thank big dawg Chad and his awesome yard instructor Shawn for teaching me everything I need to know to pass my cdl! I recommend this school for anyone interested in getting their cdl. Thank you guys!

I just want to leave a shout out to Mitch, Jeremy and Joey. They are very awesome instructors. They’re very helpful very knowledgeable and they are there for you at anytime. I am very appreciated that I have started my new chapter and I couldn’t not do it without them three thank you again.
Great experience
I jus graduated from the Redding CA yard, Casey the instructor was amazing very patient extremely knowledgeable, he cares about his students and making sure they are able to pass the test at dmv, ill definitely be recommending people to the redding yard

The instructors at the Commerce City, CO location bring a wealth of real-world experience to the table, and their teaching methods are highly effective in preparing students for success. Thanks to their dedication and expertise, I felt confident and well-prepared throughout my training. Our 18 yr old son just completed the program and got his CDL. He attended Ivy Tech Bloomington I can’t say enough good about his instructor Mike and the positive impact he got from the schooling and instructor.
Instructors
I just want to say Dan Danny kieth and Gerald were all great but I want to point out Dan was absolutely great had a anwser and explanation for every question and had little tricks to remember certain tasks I dont think I could've gotten to were I am without him. Danny was very repetitive with me making be do things over as he should . Thank you instructors at 160 in waukegan.

Highly Recommend Program
While I'm currently in the program, The instructors Bryan, Jason and Geno put safety first; with patient, clear instructions. These instructors get the classes ready for real life experience with applying their own stories to everyday CDL circumstances. They utilize their time in an appropriate manner.They highlight strengths and weaknesses and work with each student individually to make sure they succeed. I highly recommend this program for anybody wishing to get their CDL.
