So first and foremost, I started finished and completed this program graduated, I’ll give you my review on 160. I started the class after already obtaining my CDL Permit I was promised from the start it was a 4 week program and honesty it may of been a 4 week program if the Head Instructor quit my first week at the yard (let’s back track we’re getting ahead of ourselves) so the first week regardless is your classroom portion, it’s a full week of setting behind a screen. The lady over you Bridgette is friendly and wants you to succeed, but doesn’t come out of her office and is constantly on live on some app, overall the classroom portion isn’t terrible, they could do more to get the classroom involved, the second week is your PERMIT week, they force you to take the entire week off just to go get your permit, and drug test done (in reality if you study CRISTCDL.com you’ll pass on the first try, and if you can pass a drug test it should only take one full day to complete leaving Tuesday-Friday empty with nothing at all to do for class. Now starting The Yard training first day there were hit with high emotions and aggravation because the Lead instructor decides hes going to give his “To-Day” notice not two weeks “to-day” which is no blame to 160, however the other instructor Chris is tasked with teaching 12 students how to pre trip, how to drive, and how to do skills all on his own, Hes stretched SUPER THIN, and really could’ve used help, however Chris absolutely bombed it, an amazing instructor taught me so much and really goes out of his way to help each and everyone of his students he truly cares about his students and did an excellent job, I passed this all because of his dedication and passion to teaching, Would I recommend 160? Yes, there’s just minor things they should fix, and get going and they’d be 5 star company. I cannot express it enough Chris the instructor is a phenomenal person and will do everything in his power to help you succeed, ive learned so much from Chris, and would happily take any of his classes he hosts.
