I want to give a shout-out to Ashley Tompkins, my advisor at 160 Driving Academy. She's not one of the trainers, but she was a huge part of why I got my CDL.
Ashley was there every step of the way with my enrollment. Anytime I reached out, she was there. If she couldn't pick up because she was busy, she called me right back. She answered all my texts.
When I kept getting rescheduled for new test dates, she sorted the whole mess out. She was sorry that this was happening and helped to make up for it. And when I passed, she congratulated me like it was her own win.
If you're thinking about getting your CDL through 160, ask for Ashley. She'll take care of you.

They were very knowledgeable and helpful and very patient. Patient. I enjoyed my time and learning how to perfect my skills and becoming a better truck driver. I want to thank the whole crew for teaching us me.
From the moment I spoke with the recruiters Jabria and Terrence, to the hands-on training with yard instructors Corey and Mitch, my experience at 160 Driving Academy was nothing short of amazing. Everyone was supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me succeed. The training wasn’t hard to grasp thanks to their step-by-step guidance—it really felt like a team effort.
