These people are awesome!!!

Amazing!!! It's a great school with great staff to help you earn your CDL. I will never forget my experience with them and they will leave you feeling the same way. If you're comparing schools right now, please finish up and go with 160 and get started there as soon as possible. You will not regret it, I'm 1000% sure

I got severely sick just only two days after I had just started my first class at 160 academy in Waukegan Illinois, I had to take some of my classes on zoom and when I went to take my first exam I failed, I was very discouraged and disappointed because I felt like I started to have doubts however Amanda just refused to allow me to quit, so she signed me up with a tutor named Mrs.Lori Mosley who is actually not even in Illinois, her classes are based out of Ohio, this wonderful lady allowed me to attend her zoom classes with open arms she took time out of her day off to tutor me and she provided me with every possible tool she could think of that could help me catch up on my studies and guide me through the process of getting back on track within a week and a half I found the courage to go back and try the test again I passed with flying colors. I want to thank Amanda from 160 academy in Waukegan, and Mrs Mosley, for being so encouraging and so positive for believing in me and not giving up on me, if and for truly and genuinely caring. Mrs. Mosley has such a great heart, is very humble, and very open, her experiences shared with me and her classes truly helped me stay encouraged. Thank you so much Mrs Lori Mosley. Thank you so much to Amanda for truly pulling all of her resources together to accommodate me and help me and not allowing me to give up. May God bless you both and may he bless you in all your heart's desires 100 fold.

I want to thank 160 Driving Academy in Waukegan. The team at 160 from Amanda in the office, who was always at the ready to help in communications and any paper work needed. Thank you Caesar for the professionalism of the team of instructors you manage. A special shout out to Keith and Pedro who worked diligently with me on my 90’s and who have continued to be available for talks long after my graduation. Keith and Pedro have answered all my calls, even after hours to continue to share their knowledge and help me in my new career. A great experience and highly recommended.

Found the right spot!

I had a great experience at 160. Everyone around is so knowledgeable and understanding. They will help you with whatever you need if you don’t understand. Everyone is Very respectful and generous! If you’re looking for a place to learn and understand the trucking industry, you found the right spot! Even after you pass your class and driving skills, Amanda will help you get through all the DMV issues because let’s face it, the DMV is always a mess. Glad to have chosen this school because others make things complicated (I’ve had multiple people who went to other schools tell me). Chose 160 for a great time and great way to learn!

Good school

Good school to get your CDL-A. The student to instructor ratio could have been better but truck driving is very popular right now. Everyone wants to get their CDL. Kudos to Amanda, Cesar and the rest of the instructors in the yard. They help me out a lot to where I passed my state testing on my 1st try.

I attended the 160 school in waukegan il. The instructors did a great job. Would recommend it.it a great school.
