Real Instructors, Real professionals!

Want to give all the instructors at 160 driving Academy and outstanding review! Your staff is top shelf! You all taught me everything I needed to know about driving a truck and knowing everything I needed to to pass my CDL test! Staff and instructors always helped And corrected me we needed. They always answered all my questions and gave me all the tools outside and inside that truck. I also noticed when I tested that other schools were failing and we were passing. So if you want to go to a good trucking school, go to 160! Thank you 160 you all are great!

Excellent Experience with 160

I am a recent Grad 4 -13- 2023 of 160 Norfolk Location. I would like to show my appreciation to the Instructors at the Norfolk Training Yard by saying you guys are great.As in the military I would use your last name, But in this I will use your first. I don't even know where to begin!!! 160 Driving Academy is the Bomb.com!!! My Instructors Steve, John, Jamil, and Karl ain't nothing but the truth!! Ashlie is the best 160 administrator hands down!! Supplying our every need along the way!!! They work with you side by side every step of the way. They keep your motivation going as well as keep your in good spirits on and off the yard! Providing awesome job leads for new drivers as well. This was the best class ever! We were/are a family and to me, that's what helped us all succeed! You ALL will be missed!! Shout out to my trucker fam Class of 2020 baby......Sam, Chris, Brendan, Mike, Tae, Mike, Guido, Yosef, Bryan, Tony, and whoever else I forgot. I was the only female on the yard for a minute and My trucker boys/fellas, Ashlie, and INSTRUCTORS took great care of me on the yard. We took care of each other!!! Excellent school for those who want to learn hands-on. Their goal is to get you your CDL.

Great experience

Trainers are top notch in Norfolk, Va. I spent ten weeks there when the DMV closed down because of the pandemic. They did not close down. I got more than enough seat time. Ask and the trainers are there to help. I highly recommend this school. I still keep in touch with them after driving on my own for three months. Good people to learn from.

Very Good school to attend. Very positive teachers. And Denise was a wonderful teacher. I would recommend 160 for as far as CDL training. Galinda was also a great help. I am thankful i got a chance to learn from Galinda and denise.
