160 Driving Academy in Freehold, NJ was an amazing experience for me. I started my yard training on May 20th and today June 27, 2024 I passed my pre-trip and road test. As nervous as I was, they assured me I would do just fine and I am happy to say I got my CDL license and can’t wait to see what the future holds. The team was professional, great at what they do and truly took their time explaining things. I truly appreciate all the help and patience they had. I highly recommend Barrie, Joe, Mark and Trey, it was a pleasure meeting you all and thank you again for all your help! 🙂

Probably the most down-to-Earth instructional I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Every instructor personally sees that you acquire the knowledge and skills that go above and beyond what is required at the DMV test, so that come test stay, there will be no doubts. It was certainly a lot of fun learning how to shift on a manual transmission for a tractor-trailer. Anyone wanting to obtain their CDL: it would behoove you to go nowhere else than 160 . 🚛🚛🚛 a special shout out to Trey, Joe, Barry, and Mark, for walking us through the maneuvers and making sure we knew pre-trip like the back of our hand. For this being my first attempt at attaining my Class A CDL, my experience was seamless due to the straight forward and outstanding teaching abilities that my instructor (Mrs. Lori Mosely) portrayed during the classes held. My 1st impression, it's fast pace. However, there is reasoning behind the staff's method. A new student might think, why am I not driving yet. But rest assure, they drill it in your head the more importance. I would definitely like to thank you and the rest of the guys there for your attention and patience 🙏👍

This training is second to none. Transitioning from a corporate world to the trucking world, I knew there would be a lot to learn. The class was informative and thorough. Instructor Andre Gambrell is stellar. He provided terrific instruction in a fun atmosphere. He leaned on his experience as a driver and in the military to give all of his students an outstanding learning experience. I could not be happier with 160 Driving Academy!

Being enrolled at 160 Driving Academy, at Brookdale, in Lincroft NJ was a Life Changing experience. Beginning with management, Ms. Tiname Bond was very encouraging, knowledgeable, and so helpful. She went above and beyond making sure all of my options were available. I was a little nervous being a woman, so when I first met the instructors I was happy to say I felt comfortable from day one!. They not only treated me with respect, but I was treated as an equal. That meant a lot to me. There were four instructors . John, the King of teaching Pre-trip! I can recite the AirBrake, In Cab, and pretrip in my sleep, thanks to him. Tony, the Best hype man you could ever have! He really made me feel like I could do anything and made sure I really knew how to handle steering and getting a feel for how the trailer was moving. Mark, The freaking Best at teaching how to Drive period. His straight forward approach was great, because he really makes you think. He makes sure you know what your doing, and why your doing it. I also loved how he challenged us by going thru roads that were more narrow, and turns that were sharper. Last, but not least, Jordan, Mr. Smooth, I liked how he let you drive, or do maneuvers, and telling you how to fix it afterwards. All of the instructors were knowledgeable, fun, equal in giving everyone their personal time, and all taught me Life skills that I will need on the road and in life. I never knew that people That I have only known for a few weeks could change my life so much! Their representation of 160 Driving Academy is what I believe everyone wants in a driving school. I am proud to say that I graduated, and received my Class A CDL on my first Try! Thank you for having such a great team. I will recommend them to everyone!
