This roller coaster I was prepared for but it still had me baffled at how hard it was. I was working while coming into skool 5 days straight knowing I’m accomplishing my goal of passing no matter what. All the staff members believed in me from; Kristi, Doug, Aunty Tracey, Henry, Coach Will, James, and uncle Darrell, not once did they give up on me and it helped a lot and I wanted to make’em proud because we all human none of us are perfect so to receive encouragement from my peers made it even better when I cross that finish line. Don’t be to hard on yourself it’s ok to be patient I failed my first two attempts but not my third so just believe in yourself and KEEP GOING! p.s GOD DID on gang’nem Yessirskii.
I’m currently a student and Brian was very helpful and patient with his teaching made me feel comfortable and confident both ladies by the name of Tracy were awesome
I came to 160 knowing nothing, Hunter did a great job with Incab, Tracie was great with directions and a wonderful motivation. Henry is such a good instructor i will recommend 160 to anyone who wants cdl
This school does a great job teaching you the basics while still providing a lot of niche information thats useful in the long run. Henry is a very knowledgeable instructor, both Tracies did such a good job motivating me and my classmates to keep at it and Bryant did a great job guiding us with maneuvers
Henry was very inspiring, Tracey (white) made me overcome my fear on the road, Daryl(I’m gonna miss his morning ‘how are you?s’) , Hunther helped a lot with pre trip (she really broke down the language for someone who has a huge language barrier with American English), Bryant (like the teacher who is hard on you till you get it) . I respect him for his patience. I forgot James. He was very helpful. Tracey S was pregnant but she was still passionate and patient with me. Thank you 160 Academy 🫡
My journey through 160 Driving Academy in Detroit was most unique. I must say right away, that every one of the Instructors in the Yard was always very supportive. To prove this, one can only quote a friend and an Instructor, as one danced around Off Set Backing for more than 25 minutes, "Every Instructor here, has taught you!" A lot other other Driving Schools would have lost patience and kicked me out, after so long! Yet 160 coped and and drudged on with me, Thanks to Kristi Bryant. They went to every length to ensure my success, for which one is eternally grateful. Having started this journey more than 10 years ago going through more than 4 other schools, 160 Driving Academy achieved an unusual feat, to make it possible for me to be a CDL A holder, the reason it took long to do this review and staying in the yard longer! Mr. Henry Brown, Leader, never tired giving me Pre Trip handouts. He left his tight schedule to teach me Straight Backing once! Nakita was always there to provide answers to my many questions. Will, the ever cheerful and some times dancing Instructor, was a source of inspiration. Koran, the eye witness to the "miracle" of Wednesday, October 11, 2023, whose "favorite student" one is honored to be, was always cheering one on. Justin, was ready and helped in every way possible. Tracy and Rou never ran out of patience, in spite of my long minutes behind the wheel, most times encroaching on their lunch brake! Tyre was such a great Instructor who made it possible for one to grasp the Off Set skills in a heart beat! James, a gentlemanly, painstaking and optimist instructor, ensured my Skills and Road Tests were easy exercises for me. What a long review? But my stay at 160 Driving Academy, Detroit, dwarfs this lengthy review and one will not hesitate to recommend 160 Driving Academy to whoever dreams of becoming a CDL A holder! Thank you all at 160 Driving Academy, both in the open yard and the cozy office!
Thank you Mrs Lori Mosley. She is a great person and instructor. She is supporting and caring person. I recommend this school for every body. Their quizzes are comprehensive. I hope I pass my driving test soon and celebrate with my 160 driving academy family.
