When I decided to get my CDL-A, I went around the city trying to find a good trucking school. I found couple of them, but decided to go with 160 Driving Academy, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. The theoretical classes are simple, clear and easy to understand. The tutors’ knowledge helps to clarify any question. I say a big Thank you to Chris (from office) for all the prompt support and clarifications. Really appreciated. But what I really enjoyed and loved the most was the driving classes. Before anything, one huge thank you to instructor Zac. Very patient, always clear explaining, and gives you the confidence you need to drive with confidence. He knows exactly what his student issues are and promptly helps them to overcome them. That’s why most of my colleagues and I, went to the DMV, and we got it all done in a day. Thank you so much Zac. Keep it up sir. I recommend them, surely you won’t regret it. And thank me later 👌🏾👌🏾
My experience at the 160 Driving Academy in TUlsa OK,was a good one! It changed my life for the better with the opportunities I will have now that I got my CDL A license. The instructors were great and taught me so much in such a short period of time. I went for the manual and even though I got discouraged half way through,they didn't let me give up and kept pushing me. I am so grateful for all the instructors there, for each one taught me some valuable knowledge that only experienced drivers know! So Thank you for that,we got'er done Boys so on to the next chapter in my life,making money lol!!!!

My truck driving school experience was great because all the instructors are very Friendly and very knowledgeable and through their teaching skills I was able to successfully obtain my class A CDL . The whole 160 team is great and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get their CDL . 160 academy is top notch.
Coming from a guy who overthinks a lot, Scott made me comfortable extremely quick and had a ton of patience with me including Zach, Bonnie and Dan. I gave Zach a pretty hard time for a bit for miscommunication performing some straight backs. Bonnie was very caring and took her time to explain things thoroughly and always answering my questions. Dan kind of like Scott had patience and guiding me when some days were tough. Every coach there will not hesitate to help you and have no problem explaining over and over until you get it. The day of my exam 9/10/2024 Scott kept on saying not to overthink it and that it's actually easy. While doing my test I took things very slow and tried to not miss anything within 40mins for the pre-trip then maneuvers. Thanks to Scott, Zach, Bonnie and Dan I managed to pass my CDL test first try! I just wanted to cry and yell but I can only process so many emotions at once I just went with the flow. I will never ever forget Scott's words 'Don't Rush To Failure'. Thank you 160, I truly love you guys a lot and this is only the beginning. You guys might only be teachers to me but I see you guys as friends. Honorable mentions to Chris and Lilibeth for having faith on me. I don't plan on forgetting you guys. For any new students or planning to apply for a trucking school, you won't regret going to this school, they will make you comfortable quickly which honestly helps you so much more than if you were to find them intimidating. Remember in school and during your test, Don't Rush To Failure! Take your time learning and write things down, that truly helps. During your test, don't overthink. Worry what you have in front of you. ONE and DONE BABY!
Everyone there was great from the office to the yard. Chris is very good at what he does. Complete info on everything you need to know. Lillibeth was amazing and was always on top of everything. And the yard, Scott was very helpful and patient as he could be. Thank you to all of the staff in Tulsa for the knowledge and help getting my cdl.
15 months ago my husband and I decided we wanted to team drive together. After extensively researching schools in our area we chose 160. He attended first and passed the test first try. 6 months later I attended and passed first try as well. This school is designed to teach you to pass the state test and give you the building blocks to become a good driver. You must be self motivated, a self starter and a disciplined learner. It is fast paced and you must have the ability to pick up on the directions given and put them to use in practice. You are either a student that sits around waiting to be taught or you get up and learn. You use every minute of class time putting in the work. The team of instructors are amazing and know their stuff. If you think you know a better way, you don’t. The steps work if you work them. They won’t waste their time with lazy or unmotivated students. Big shout out to Chris in the office for pushing us along and believing in us. And a heartfelt thank you to the instructors that were always there for me, pushed me when I had doubts in myself and believe in me. Scott always took the time to talk me off the ledge, Casey and Tony for taking the time to help me when I knew they were already so busy with the newer students. And Abbey for never letting me get ahead of myself. 160 is a great program. You get what you give. You give 100% you’ll get 100%.
160 tulsa was great. Chris was very good and helpful in getting the info I needed to make knowledgeable decisions, to get started, and throughout. Lillibeth was a gem, always available and helpful. The trainers in the yard were top teir, (Scott, Casey, Tony, Abbey) they gave me all the tools I needed for one and done! Thank you all.
I had an awesome time at the academy! Learned a lot from my instructors! I’d do it all over again if I could. The office staff was very helpful and answered every questions I had. Now I get to start a career thanks to 160 Driving Academy.
Everything was great. From first meeting Chris and him helping with me to get financial aid that was a grant I don't even have pay back. They answered all my questions and kept up with me the entire process. When I started on the yard all the instructors Scott, Abby, and Casey were so helpful and interested in teaching you everything you need to know to pass your CDL test. If you take this course you'll seriously you'll definitely be ready to test. Anyways overall great experience plus added bonus they want you to keep in touch so they can be sure of your success after the school. Can't go wrong at the school in Tulsa that's for sure.
