Be ready to learn when Aaron is on the yard and teaching the technical aspect of driving a manual. There’s more to just driving. And he taught me that. He is super calm and confident while in the road and it made me feel calmer and to have more confidence while shifting, turning, and safety. I was struggling with my offset and he doing everything he can to help me with my Alley Dock. An amazing Instructor Aaron is. Will refer future students to 160 Driving Academy because of him. Thank you again Aaron🙏🏽😊

T was great at the commerce city location. Patient and helpful. She is actually invested in the students learning and moving forward. She was the bright spot for this location!

Cool experience
The school did everything I needed it to do for me to pass my test. The instructors were cool and patient with me when I was learning. Only thing I think all schools should do is teach you how to back up at a dock or in between 2 trailers but that’s not something they test you on

My experience at the academy was challenging but all the instructors will not let me give up . Everything that they taught me and what I learned it paid off in the end because I got my CDL on the first try. I’m so happy that I found 160 Driving Academy and the team you guys have at the Memphis branch they are amazing and very respectful with great understanding I’m happy to have learned under them and happy that I will be able to take what I’ve learned and go over the road with they go far and beyond to make sure you got and are very comfortable behind the wheel I couldn’t of asked for better instructors
Everybody teaches different but I promise you the answer is always the same.
Every trainer there helped and offered good advice with helping from skills to the pre trip. This was my first time every driving a (rig) and after my last week of training each and everyone of the trainers were there saying good job and what we should work on,
Amazing Results!
From day one it felt like a family. Everyone in the process was open and knowledgeable. I came in wanting to drive CDL-B dump trucks with manuals and now can't wait to use my CDL-A to take on the challenge of moving large loads. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly so ask lots of questions. I would recommend 160 DA to anyone wanting to make trucking their career!
Great school
Attending 160 was the best experience I had. The instructors was great specifically DOC and Sherrod. DOC is going to make sure you have a great understanding of every and is someone I recommend you learn from. Sherrod is a guy who is going to make sure the tour instructor is teaching you in a way that is best for your learning. The whole 160 staff are great people to be around and full of energy daily. I really enjoyed it. Thank you 160💪🏾
