Came into this a little worried I wouldn't grasp it in time, but the instructors at 160 Barstow were extremely patient, helpful, and professional. I got my CDL now and can't wait to start my career on the open road! Thank you Dom, Zovan, and Jay for all you have done for me and continue to do for other students.
Inspired to get CDL
I graduated from 160 Driving Academy today originally I was born in Guyana where I worked as a police officer and worked in asset protection. I came here as an immigrant and did regular work before at 60+ years old. I met Sam at 160 Driving Academy I had an idea about truck driving but was not convinced I had to get the money and did not know what direction to go in. I was inspired by the mentor and the interviewer Sam in the office who got me the loan to pursue my goals and ambitions. I had to work five days a week and two days of school, which was tough, but the sacrifice was worthwhile. I advised anyone aiming to get a CDL to go for it. It is a wide open field and a job that will change your life. It will put your family in a more stable and secure environment. Shut out to 160 thank you to the instructors and everyone who helped with the practical 160 is the GOAT of driving academys

Let me tell you Josh the king of the road the trucker in the sky big brother the god of all trucking he is one of the best CDL instructors of all time he is sturn and he is kind all at the same time this man can fill your head full of truck driving knowledge in 3 weeks it is crazy to me how he does it you are the best instructor I have had yet thank you for all that you do.

School was great and very fun. This course was quick, to the point, fun and produced a one and done test from me! Its only as hard as you want it to be.

Lopez is amazing—extremely helpful and runs the yard like a boss, making sure both staff and students stay on point. Danny, Belay, and Gavin are just as impressive. They’re supportive, patient, and truly care about your success. They make sure you learn every safe step to driving a truck and don’t miss a beat. 160 Driving Academy in Commerce City is 100% the place to be. It’s a top-notch school with the people and resources to teach you everything you need to know. Going anywhere else would honestly be a waste of time and money. Personally, I never thought I could drive a truck. I figured it would take a miracle just to move one a foot! But miracles happen here—because not only did they teach me, they taught me well. I’m now fully prepared for a career in the trucking industry, and it’s all because of the amazing team at 160 Commerce City. Thank you, T, Danny, Belay, and Gavin—you really do make miracles happen!

Starting my journey I started looking around the area like everybody else looking at reviews and pass rates. When I called around the one that really helped me with all my questions was Crystal from the Spokane 160 driving academy. Even days after when I still had more questions she wouldn't leave me hanging she would reply with all my questions answered that same day. She got us right on board with getting in, what steps we had to take to get going. Now on our first day of our CDL on the yard training we met Dave and Ivy. One of the most caring, loving and most welcoming people I have met. You can tell that they really care about their job. I know that words can't describe the feeling and support and pushing you to be better. I know others that have come to this school felt the same way. I want to thank them for helping me and even supporting me up until the day of my test. Who ever reads this "YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE". Thanks .
