Great experiance
The experience was fast paced bit exciting. The instructor were great from steve, calvin, freeman, dave, ricardo. All instructors took the time to help with weakness and make sure i was ready to test out woukd recommend 1 and done Stay driven
Mama I did it!!!
Coming into the program I felt a bit nervous and a bit overwhelmed with all I had to learn. I was not sure if I would be able to learn everything I needed to in order to pass my CDL testing and get my license. I’m thankful for this program and it’s instructors as well as leaders Mrs __ Jackie and Mrs Diana whom whirled with me and encouraged me to keep moving forward and helped me to learn all I needed to and believe in myself. Thanks to this program and them I now have my CDL license and am looking forward to what is to come after this…. So don’t walk RUN to 160 driving academy!!
Holes in the yard
Since I been at the school the gravel yard has been terrible terrible it makes no sense we have to fill in holes everyday. The trucks get stuck constantly!! It's difficult practicing your skills when you are constantly getting stuck. Please fix the gravel yard problem. Other than that the instructors are wonderful and very patient with the students
Great Experience
This was a very challenging course. Much harder than I had imagined. The instruction here kind of reminded me of military boot camp (failure not being an option). As students we were pushed hard. From the management staff, Antonio, Randle El, and Tim to the instructors Lenny, Al, Anthony, Lawrence, Bonnie, Bill, Dave, Steve (Both of them) Pat, Aqua, Gerald, and too many Tony’s to count. This experience has left a lasting impression on me to take pride in being a “professional” driver. To be a safe driver and to impress upon others I come in contact with the lessons that were ingrained in me at 160 Driving School.
Great Instructors
I cannot imagine that 160 Driving Academy is too different than any other CDL school. What does make them stand out, is their instructors. Mr. Levi, AJ, and Tony did an outstanding job at helping my group and I learn and understand our pre-trip, master our maneuvers, and guide and get us comfortable with driving in they city and the highway. Their calm demeanor helped me shake my nerves, and adjust to driving. They go above and beyond, especially for students who show a willingness to learn. It was a wonderful experience. I can confidently say I have learned from the best!
More than Instructors
From day on it was a valuable learning experience. The team of men Milton,Robert,Jon,Jonathan,Mandeo,and Scott are very polished in there Profession. I had no clue what a slack adjusters and pushrod was now I do. Thanks to the great team effort. Way to go team I will forever remember my great experience at San Marcos Drive 160 Academy.

this school was great, they teach you everything that you need to know. they are patience with you and want you to succeed. the instructors were awesome, love yall s/o tim, lori, and curtis
