Great instructors and school
Overall I had a great experience at 160 all the instructors went above and beyond to answers questions and to help with anything extra we needed. I want to thank Bryan and Matt for making it a fun experience and personally thank Matt who helped me get my skills perfect for test day .
Great experience
At first I thought it was a lot of information to take in. Between raising two active teenage boys and being a single mother I was worried I wouldn’t be able to retain what I was learning. The teachers were absolutely great in encouraging me that I was doing fine and would be good. The repetition helped and everyone was amazing with having patience in the learning experience. I ended up being one and done! Thanks to the entire team out at the Commerce location .
Amazing experience
Great instructors in class and in the yard they really know how to explain and get you ready for the driving and written test thanks to them I passed my exam on my first time highly recommend attending 160 driving academy.

First off wanted to thank the whole team at the waukegan academy for the help. Each instructor helped me in their own ways and made it possible for me to obtain my CDL.
Just passed my road test
My experience was great. Mrs Kristi Bryant was always there for me when I needed assistance, rather phone or email… The 1st week or so on the truck yard was hectic because I was new to this, but once I settled in with the instructors it all start coming together. One instructor Utivia explained things as simple as possible which started giving me the confidence I needed…I am very much thankful & eager to start my new career
CDL Class A
The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. They strive to see you pass your CDL test. If you are struggling in certain areas of the class, they take the time to help you and make sure you fully understand. They want you to succeed.

Great instructors
I can’t say enough good things about Deanna and Kona. They know what their doing and if you put in the effort and listen to their instruction they will get you where you need to be to get you CDL A. They invest time and effort and WANT to see you succeed not just go thru the motions.
Best Decision of My Life
I cannot speak highly enough of the 160 Team. I appreciate Nicole's honesty and forthrightness throughout my entire time. Dave Holley's abilities as an in-class instructor are off-the-charts. The team at the Joliet Yard: Tim, Lori, Curtis, Jeremy, Andre, and Rich are quite simply the best at what they do. They are the best, not just because they know their jobs and run that yard with professionalism, but because they care deeply about each student's desires and goals to earn that CDL and begin working in the trucking industry. I received great assistance from the instructors at South Holland once proffered to test. My deepest appreciation to Miss Aqua and Miss Janice for their patience in smoothing out the yips I developed in my shifting right before testing. A big shout out to both Tonys, Justin, and Augie at South Holland for their knowledge and candor. I am 57 years old and beginning a new career after 22 years in the cable industry, so this was a seminal moment in my life. I had no back-up plan. This WAS my plan. Failure was not an option. I know I selected the correct industry and most importantly, the correct organization to teach me the knowledge and skills necessary to pass THE TEST and earn my CDL. Thank you to everyone at 160 Drive. I have reached new heights because I am standing on your shoulders. If you want that CDL, you're gonna have to WORK for it, BUT you can get it.
Motivated and friendly
I was a two day a week student. The instructors treated me like a full time student. Ther were focused on making sure I knew what I was doing and how to do it the right way.. they were all easy to understand and we're very friendly. There was no reason to not succeed with their help.
