When I first started at 160 driving school, I knew absolutely nothing. They gave me all the tools necessary in order for me to be prepared for CDL license test. I did my pre trip everyday, I did my in cab every day (thank you, Nancy). I worked hard on my maneuvers, with guidance from my favorite instructor, Ron. He helped me through so much. I would not have been able to succeed without him. My most fearful instructor, Dan, gave me so much anxiety BUT he will teach you to go above and beyond what you need to know so that you will not fail on your test and in the real world. Nancy helped instilled my pre trip in my head to the point that I was dreaming about properly mounted and secured, not bent, cracked or broken. I thank her for that. Teamwork makes the dream work and this team set me up for success, I got my test date and I passed on the first go round. One big thing about my maneuvers that I was taught: “it’s okay if you put yourself in a situation, just as long as you know how to get out of it.” I put myself in a situation on my test, and because of them, I knew how to get myself out of it. Thank you all for believing in me and getting me where I needed to be to be able to pass my test on the first try. Thank you Eddie, thank you Russell, thank you John, thank you Eric. Big thanks to Nancy who guided me in my first days and continued to work with me in helping me learn better ways in my maneuvers (my offset on my test was one of the best ones I did yet thanks to you teaching me how to USE my mirrors and find my cones!!!) I was so impressed with myself. Thank you Dan, for pounding in my head how important my mirror watch is for my lane control, especially around the curves (I killed it); no thanks to the anxiety.. jk lol. It helped, I think…. Big big thanks for Ron for being there for me through EVERYTHING! Huge thanks to Daniel for taking time and making sure I was prepared for my test. Eddie, you’re awesome. I appreciate you guys more than you’ll ever know for helping me succeed and giving me all the knowledge and the power and the support for me to be able to pass on my first try. Last but not least, thank you Stephanie for putting all this together for me and being so understanding! I greatly appreciate it and I look forward to all the future women truck drivers you guide in the right direction to be able to succeed on the road! Thank you for being so communicative with me! I love you all! I cannot thank you enough.
Grateful for the wisdom
I am truly happy to the point that I picked 160 Driving Academy of Delaware. Everybody was a joy to gain from. I appreciate, Rodney, the yard educator! He was extremely capable and patient. He empowered me with every one of the mechanisms important to finish my street test! I'm also thankful for Mr. D for the knowledge shared. I would strongly suggest anyone with any interest at all in turning into a Commercial Driver go to 160 Driving Academy of Delaware. Because of everybody at 160 Driving Academy for the staggering experience. George was the lead teacher and can be tough on you. Truly, I thought he was stern but, for the best. It's not discrimination, it's greatness he installs within you to be the best. Just for something better, he pushed me and assisted me with getting my CDL quickly. There is a technique that is a proven 98% first try victories. He is working on you like a mechanic. George is not a racist, it's called beneficial criticism. You will be blessed in the end just trust his process. Rodney was likewise an astonishing teacher with lots of tolerance and will work with you until you get it. Dwaquan is a remarkable person comparably. This spot is a 10/10 will keep on prescribing it to my loved ones. Trust you likewise have an incredible encounter

Going to 160 has been an interesting journey for me. I still have yet to take my driving portion of the test. I am truly grateful for the PATIENCE and guidance of George, Bullet, Big DJ, Steve, Amber, and Brandon. I believe that every instructor has a great way of teaching so , when choosing instructions/instructors to follow, it really depends which teaching style resonates with you best. All in all, they all are very insightful and there’s something to learn from every member. They’ve all shown to me how passionate they are in making sure their students are set up for success whether it’s pre-trip, skills, and/or driving. Words can’t explain how thankful I am for each one of them.
One and Done!!
I learned everything I needed to learn and was able to get my CDL the first try and get my hat! I walked in with zero experience and within 2 weeks I learned how to drive a manual transmission, 70 ft semi like a pro. I am very happy I went with 160 Driving Academy Nashville.

Professional and Fun
My experience at 160 Driving Academy in South Bend, IN was out standing. The instructors there all have different teaching methods for every type of learning experience you’ll need. Some of the students there had experience in CMV and, some students never drove a manual car let alone a semi. We all passed our test the first time. I can’t thank Dwayne, Ralph, Dwight, Pete and Mike enough you guys rule.
