Moraine Valley 160 Review
I came out of the Moraine Valley campus in Palos Hills in May of this year with the help of my great Branch Manager Julie. If you happen to also go through her office doors en route to your future career in the field of trucking then you are in good hands I guarantee it. If you ever need help or are unsure of what you need to do in order to succeed she is only a phone call, text, or email away. Don't be afraid to ask for help from her or any of the instructors in either the Harvey or South Holland yard. They want you to succeed! Once you are in the yards after the first week in class don't get discouraged if you don't pick things up right away. Some people take longer than others its only natural! Tim is a great head of the yard and don't be intimidated by Antonio. They might be tough on you but thats only because they have to be in order to get you ready for test day. Kevin is a great instructor in Harvey and so is Tony in South Holland when you get closer to testing. All of the instructors are good at their jobs you just have to pe patient, listen, and be willing to learn.

I recently received my class A license through 160 academy, I have to say that what a great group of instructors I had the pleasure dealing with, everyone was so full of knowledge, and was very willing to share it it in great detail, and if they didn't have the answer, they were quick to get it. I would like to give a shout out to Paul in the front office for all the information he gave me through the whole process, and in the yard a big shout out to my instructors, Matt, Ruben, Jojo, and especially Jonyea who I worked with the most, it was a great experience and lots of hard work, but, the feeling of accomplishing something so big and important in my life, well, today it was all worth it, I would 100% recommend 160 driving academy to anyone interested in making truck driving their career, thank you once again 160!!!!!!

For the most part my experience with 160 has been good. I could have used a little more driving time leading up to testing. The instructors were amazing and know their stuff. I was able to ask questions, learn, and they worked with me to get my CDL. So grateful for everything.
Great School
I just graduated from the academy and overall it was a great experience. If you come in and practice the 160 hours is all it takes and you will pass first time. Big shoutout to Rasheed he is the standard instructor and was always there and helpful. He taught every student according to their style and always was willing to help. He’s an awesome part of the company and I would definitely recommend your school to others. Especially people who want to learn a manual transmission.

I would recommend this school for anyone interested in better themselves career wise. Shout out to Tim Laurie Tony but screw Jim the grumpy instructor I swear this dude wakes up every day with a spiked stick up his crack
