I had a great overall experience in this course. I landed a job one day after getting my cdl from the dmv. Galinda and Denise were very helpful and professional during my 4 weeks. I would recommend this program to anyone wanting to change their career or find a good paying job.
Great experience
Trainers are top notch in Norfolk, Va. I spent ten weeks there when the DMV closed down because of the pandemic. They did not close down. I got more than enough seat time. Ask and the trainers are there to help. I highly recommend this school. I still keep in touch with them after driving on my own for three months. Good people to learn from.
160 academy grad
I loved every minute of my training my teachers was amazing and my classmates was real helpful we helped each other study do skills and road I would 100% recommend this school to everyone
The beginning of the next success
My experience with the 160 academy was amazing , my instructors were great and very hands on for providing the skills to inform everyone to progress learning the ways of the road and opportunity purposes. My branch manager Agatha was very helpful through the pandemic, the challenges were tough but she made sure to keep everything safe and extremely helpful to get us to the right places within the program. Joining the 160 academy was the best choice I’ve ever made for career commercial driving classes and I’d highly recommend anyone to join and make their path to their next success with the 160 academy. I want to encourage everyone out there that is looking for a career in trucking to Attend 160 Driving Academy! Marsha and Stacie are the best with doing all the intake paperwork with guiding you. Joel, Chino, and Mark are excellent in the field! I came in not knowing anything about a Manual Transmission let alone how to park a truck. These guys got me through and on to the next point in my career! Thank you guys !

GREAT SCHOOL!
I attended the school in Peoria, IL. Let me first say that driving a big rig was something I had wanted to do for 40 years. I don’t believe I am the typical student because my career took a different path and while I am still employed I am hoping to do at least some driving. Tiffany in the office was very knowledgeable, polite and model of efficiency. I had signed up on a Friday and she helped me get set up to start class on Monday from home. David ran a informative and entertaining class. When I got to the yard Randy (the lead instructor) and Ben were both focused on getting all of us the knowledge we needed to pass the exam. They both shared real life experiences and whenever I had a question, which was encouraged, they were ready with an answer. Randy gave up some time on his days off to give me some more driving time as I neared exam day. Above and beyond as far as I am concerned. Thanks to all! (Keep up the litanies Randy!)

Excellent school
The best school for CDL Being medical assistant and woman from different country it was challenging for me to learn but I had the best instructors like Josh n Sheldon I failed first time but they didn’t gave up on me they prepared me more with extra hours I passed yesterday And I am happy I chose 160 driving I highly recommend this school
