One and Done!!!
I started with zero knowledge and in four weeks I passed my CDL on the first attempt! I made zero mistakes on my backing maneuvers! Could not have done that without the awesome performance and knowledge of the instructors! I’ve been coast to coast and very happy with my income! THANK YOU 160!!!!!! If I can give one piece of advice to newcomers it would be PRETRIP!! PRETRIP!!! Thank you Rick,Jarmell, and Steve
Best experience
My experience was great from the beginning Ashley welcomed me to the trucking school like if I knew her for years took me to the yard to see everything and met all the instructors they where awesome. Tony ,John, other John , Lawrence, Alex, Leslie, and Especially DANNY are very professional and knowledgeable anytime you need help they didn’t hesitate to help me they make this schooling feel very comfortable for you to learn in and improve your skills . I would recommend anybody that’s looking for a driving school 160 academy is the way to go.
Great Experience
While attending 160, I learned a lot. I came in ready to absorb knowledge and that’s exactly what I got. I know that doing my preTrip on my vehicle is very important before going on the road. I know that at the same time the truck can be dangerous at the right speed. Training here to get my CDL was the best decision that I made. I highly recommend training here at 160 New Britain Location. Thanks 160
The best school
I liked 160 alot and Kelly was especially great laugh and work cant asked for nothing better. The yard was pretty busy but Dean and Wes. are excellent people to have train you.

Good value, great Teachers, Sara in the office was good at helping get things done and working with me on completing on time. All the instructors were helpful and they help me out a whole lot and did everything to help me move forward in life. Kevin and Darwin are the best!

Great Experience in Charlotte, NC
I enjoyed my experience with 160 Driving Academy in Charlotte, NC. Even though it was a little rocky at first with Covid going on, it was still alright. Roscoe was a great help to me, as well as Tony my instructor. They both pushed me to do great. Both of them was there whenever I had a problem. Tony, I must say is a very great instructor. His teaching/instructing shows. I was praised for my great driving techniques when I had to do a driving test for the company I am with now. I really do appreciate these guys and all they installed in me. I would recommend 160 Driving Academy to anyone as long as these guys are there because I know they will make sure you know what needs to known and more to help you become a successful truck driver.
I'm going to miss this school
1st of All let me say this a life changing school....My Branch manager Sara Watson was very informative and the sweetest....My instructors Kevin, Durwen, Joe, Big Nate, Mrs T. And Mr. Hughes taught me well enough that I passed my pretest and backing with no points...Great guys and funny as hell...Going to miss this school and the relationships I had with my peers ...Good luck and stuck with it...
