Excellent experience
I liked the training program it was very good and tom and Carie where very good instructors I learned a how to drive a manual when I never touched a manual before and when I needed more time they found a way to get me more time to practice
My time with 160
I want to share how incredible my experience has been with 160 Driving Academy, especially with the team at Palos Hill. Outstanding team**: Julia, Shannon, Brian, Gerald, Henry, Mac, Will, Armont, Sahara, OG, Meni, Wilson, and the rest of the crew are truly the greatest assets. They consistently work without complaint, even in the yard on the coldest days when it’s snowing, raining, or windy. Student-first mindset**: They go above and beyond to help students reach their goals of obtaining a CDL. They’re supportive, patient, and dedicated to making the process as smooth as possible. Exceptional support at Palos Hill**: Mrs. Julia stands out for her willingness to enroll students, assist financially, and handle documentation. Her commitment is a big reason many students succeed. Team-wide dedication**: I’ve never seen a whole team work so cohesively and positively as the 160 family. Their teamwork and care make a huge difference. Personal milestone**: I proudly obtained my CDL today, and I owe it to this amazing team. I’m grateful for the guidance and encouragement I received. A bittersweet note**: I already miss the yard and the daily interactions with everyone, but I’m leaving with confidence and gratitude. If you’re considering CDL training, my experience says: go with 160 Driving Academy. They earn your trust through hard work, support, and real results. Great School
I recommend 160 to anyone looking to get their CDL. I was able to get in quick and was given all the tools and guidance and preparation needed for the skills and on road testing. The instructors were great and such a big help. I appreciate them so much and thanks to 160 I got my CDL.
Palos Hills and Harvey
All instructors at the yard are helpful and easy to learn from. Julie at Palos Hills is the best and helpful with everything. Easy place to get a one and done
Best instructors
Jeff, Nancy, Chris and Roger are great instructors. They set us up for success. If you put in the work, show up, and follow their instructions, it’s a win win!! One and done for me and many others i’ve seen come through while I was in class. Kudos to 160 Louisville!!!!
Got me in there!!
Beyond informative. From Mr. Brown getting me secured with shifting to Mr. Marcus helping me get settled into my setups for maneuvers and Mr. Terry getting me comfortable herring into position to lock down my Pre-trip inspections and alley docking. Had a good time learning and becoming good enough to be able to get in and out of training without any issues so I thank the team for all their help!

Got my CDL ! Instructors are great ,they teach you what you need to know , they were very patient with me and everybody ! Great school to go and start something better for your career life !

The BEST YARD IN THE WORLD
Man I can honestly say that this experience was life changing and it taught me a lot. This is the best program I’ve ever been apart of. Robert and Lisa are the best instructors and even better human beings who genuinely care about the students. Couldn’t have asked for a better program to be enrolled in. THE BEST 160 DRIVING ACADEMY IN THE COUNTRY!!! Yeah I said that!!! THE BEST EVER!!! God bless you both and I’m grateful for everything you’ve invested into me as well as the other students who came in with me🙏🏾
