I Came in knowing nothing about a Semi truck let alone how to use a clutch ..These instructors at 160 Are the Best Teachers To have entering the Trucking World. They will help you on your weakest points. They will guide you and Make SURE you Get your CDL. You gotta put the effort in also but with these instructors I Learned so much and learned how to Double clutch . i wanna thank all of yous at 160 For the help and guidance in reaching my Goal. Couldn't have done it without you guys.

Great experience
160 Academy was a terrific experience for myself. I went into this school without any knowledge of truck driving. The classroom as well as the yard gave me all the knowledge I needed to secure my Class A CDL. Every trainer in the yard is great in their own way. If you are not comfortable with one simply ask to train with a different one. We all learn differently. As adults we should remember a teacher is only as good as the student. 160 academy will do everything in their power to make you successful, just remember to do your part as well no matter how stressful it can get. i attended the 160 driving academy not knowing anything about a truck but once i passed my permit test i went to the yard and the instructors are the best Joe, Charles, Zack, Gary, Dave, Anthony, Ms. Bonnie I thank them for all the training and patiecens they had with me. that the Rockford 160 driving school
Life Changer
Being enrolled at 160 Driving Academy, at Brookdale, in Lincroft NJ was a Life Changing experience. Beginning with management, Ms. Tiname Bond was very encouraging, knowledgeable, and so helpful. She went above and beyond making sure all of my options were available. I was a little nervous being a woman, so when I first met the instructors I was happy to say I felt comfortable from day one!. They not only treated me with respect, but I was treated as an equal. That meant a lot to me. There were four instructors . John, the King of teaching Pre-trip! I can recite the AirBrake, In Cab, and pretrip in my sleep, thanks to him. Tony, the Best hype man you could ever have! He really made me feel like I could do anything and made sure I really knew how to handle steering and getting a feel for how the trailer was moving. Mark, The freaking Best at teaching how to Drive period. His straight forward approach was great, because he really makes you think. He makes sure you know what your doing, and why your doing it. I also loved how he challenged us by going thru roads that were more narrow, and turns that were sharper. Last, but not least, Jordan, Mr. Smooth, I liked how he let you drive, or do maneuvers, and telling you how to fix it afterwards. All of the instructors were knowledgeable, fun, equal in giving everyone their personal time, and all taught me Life skills that I will need on the road and in life. I never knew that people That I have only known for a few weeks could change my life so much! Their representation of 160 Driving Academy is what I believe everyone wants in a driving school. I am proud to say that I graduated, and received my Class A CDL on my first Try! Thank you for having such a great team. I will recommend them to everyone!
Got my CDL
I am very happy!!! I came to 160 Driving Academy and passed all of my skills testing on the 1st try. I want to think Jermel He was so great and all of the guys on the range for the help they gave me to make sure I received my Class A CDL. I want to think Kelly for all the great information she gave me to get me started and help me with finding a new job and I would recommend 160 Driving Academy to anyone that is willing to put in the work and wanting to get a new career as a CDL Class A truck driver. This school is Great!!! The teachers are awesome and Kelly was very nice getting me enrolled. My Favorite instructor is Jermel and Stephen. They made sure I went out and passed all my skills and got my CDL on the first try. I would recommend anyone that wants their CDL go see Kelly and get enrolled. I am now ready to start my career THANK YOU 160 Driving Academy for making this dream a reality

The staff and instructors had a lot of valuable information from years of experience in the field. By the time you test they will have trained you to a level of comprehension and you WILL pass, if you've applied yourself. You will get what you put in, so take it seriously!
