Absolutely Amazing CDL Training Experience!
I had an incredible experience at this CDL driving class! Coming in with zero manual transmission experience, I was a little nervous, but thanks to my amazing instructors—Rob, Nico, and Andre—I quickly gained the skills and confidence to drive a manual semi. Rob, in particular, was incredibly helpful and made the learning process smooth and enjoyable. His patience, expertise, and clear instructions made all the difference, and I can’t thank him enough! The entire team was supportive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in my success. If you’re looking for top-notch CDL training with experienced instructors who genuinely care, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Rick and Randy are awesome instructors they go above and beyond to make sure you understand trust me there was no way I would’ve thought I would be one and done but thanks to them I did it!!
My turn
I was excited to start school and a new career. I was a little intimidated and nervous at first being on the yard. Thanks to the instructors I had, they made me feel comfortable and motivated to learn. They were very thorough in explaining the answers to any and all questions I had. The one on one time was important for me as well. Their feedback was always beneficial and never meant to be critical. They made learning for me, exciting and fun. Not to mention the bond you have as a whole group. Picking each other up and sharing support for your fellow students. In all, a great learning experience, great instructors, and a great investment for myself and my family. Highly recommend anyone looking to join the trucking industry.
Just graduated
When I first got here, I wasn't sure I'd be able to do any of this at all, and today I'm leaving a graduate. Chad the Lead Instructor and the other instructors Shawn and Randy have helped me alot and molded me into a truck driver. They are professional and knowledgeable and if you listen to what they tell you, you'll leave this school with your CDL for sure. Thanks to all the staff at 160 I love you guys and I appreciate all of you
My time at 160
I would have gave 160 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lady in the office , I she gave minimal information and would start the online class and leave . Then once I passed she gave me my certificate and transcripts and said good luck no “ one and done photo “ nothing . Now on to the Instructors , First let me say go into this process with an open mind and a clear head you will be with a mix of society. Roger the lead instructor at Huntington is strict but fair and will teach you the finer more skilled portions of preparing for your test . John was a more calm and gentler instructor that is perfect for the first time on the yard or if you are struggling he is a wealth of knowledge. Together they complement each other and come together so if you follow their instructions you will definitely be a one and done ! My time on the yard was amazing I made some great friends had some wonderful laughs and learned a lot . If you are wanting to become a class A driver do not hesitate to come to Huntington. I will miss everyone there and cherish the memories that were made . Thank you all for the amazing experience..
"One and done"
I have an CDL A (manual) license. First attempt with DMV examiner!!! I was prepared for the written exam for the permit through convenient virtual classroom with Kona, then out on the range with the instructors for pretrip, airbrake, skills, and road operation. Special shout-out for Blair. He wants us to win!
Excellent Experience
What an excellent driving academy! Roger and John we the best instructors and teachers! I passed my test "one and done". I couldn't have done it without them!!! I would highly recommend 160 Driving Academy for your CDL.

It was a great class with great teacher I love everything about my teachers they work with you and make sure you know wht your doing before puttin you on the road. I would recommend this class for everybody to take and I also had a good time there with other students studying helping each other with the studying.
