Overall experience was great. I attended the Oceanside CA location. Instructors Mark and Winton are outstanding and professional. They're dedicated and always went the extra mile during instruction and coaching students to mastery all while running a "safe" program.
Charleston wv 160 was great
My instructors John and Chris was awesome. They gave me all the knowledge I needed to pass the test with ease and more. I wouldn't have wanted to done it anywhere but in Charleston with John and Chris. The best thing is they ended up not just being my instructors there my friends and I know I could always call them. I can't leave out Bridgett in the classroom in Charleston she was great as well. Thank you John, Chris and Bridgett for everything.

The instructors in the yard were pretty helpful they are there every step of the way. Although since the beginning starting off with the virtual class was pretty awesome I didn't think I was going to to get a lot of information but I was wrong the teacher was very helpful he guides you every step of the way and if you have any doubts or questions he will help you.

From the moment I spoke with the recruiters Jabria and Terrence, to the hands-on training with yard instructors Corey and Mitch, my experience at 160 Driving Academy was nothing short of amazing. Everyone was supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me succeed. The training wasn’t hard to grasp thanks to their step-by-step guidance—it really felt like a team effort. While the job hunt after graduation can be challenging, I left confident and well-prepared. My time at 160 trucking school has been absolutely amazing. The lead instructor and staff teach everything you need to know as students pursuing a CDL. The environment in the truck yard is nothing but love, anyone looking to get their CDL I highly recommend 160 Trucking Academy.
160 Tucson
Eldon the main instructor at the Tucson location did a great job with teaching the students pre-trip, maneuvers and driving skills. He cared about his students and in some cases (mine) he went above and beyond to make sure I got my CDL test scheduled and passed successfully. Thanks!

I got my CDL
160 was not a bad thing. The classroom, (first week), is excruciatingly detailed and boring but informative. The instructors at the yard were excellent! Chris and John are very helpful and patient and will do their absolute best to help you learn and succeed, as long as you show the willingness to listen and learn. Overall a good experience, thanks in large part to the instructors at the yard. I had no prior tractor trailer experience nor mechanically minded and I passed my CDL drivers test first try. I would recommend the 160 Driving Academy of Charleston, WV to someone interested in tractor trailer driving
Life changing
The best exsperiance ever. Through all the struggles I went through trying to get to a cdl school. 160 driving reachednout to me on a daily basis and walked me through every step of the way. I made friends there that will be with me for a life time. The staff treat you with up most respect and they truly care about you and the things you go through. A huge shoutout to Amanda and Madison at the Lawrenceburg location. They never gave up on me and with there help I am now on my way to success. It’s such a fast and easy program. The way the teach you at the yard welds the information in your brain. Where I will never forget what I learned there. And when I went to test at the big yard, it was just like another day at the training yard. It came so natural and so easy just because of the fact that they will not send you up there if they don’t think you’re ready. 160 DRIVING ACADEMY CHANGED MY LIFE.
