I just received my CDL yesterday. The entire staff was a big help in making this possible, from the branch manager Shareese all the way to the instructors Adrian, Ali, Hub, and Moses. Rain,sleet,snow, or freezing temps they was out there with us giving us the guidance we needed. Gratitude and I salute.

I had an amazing experience going through this academy. Julie at Palos hills was a huge help from start to finish, always on top of her game. I had great instructors along the way Laurence, Henry, Jabari, and Sharjah. Thank you for pushing me. I start my first job at Werner Enterprises tomorrow.

My overall experience at 160 Driving Academy was very instructive, helpful, and friendly people. Everything from the introduction with Sam in Stockton, up to yard training with the instructors; Ruben, Rick, Luis, Blair, and Mike, was smooth and organized. In conclusion, I was able to acquire my CDL at 19 y/o and on the first try!

Had a fantastic time learning from a few well seasoned veterans and tips and tricks that each have learned on their own. The vast knowledge from the instructors outweighed the supply of available trucks we had at our disposal. 10/10 would recommend.

I had an outstanding experience at 160. From the moment I enrolled, the entire team was supportive, professional, and genuinely invested in my success. The behind-the-wheel training was especially valuable, giving me the confidence I needed to pass my CDL exam. I highly recommend 160 to anyone looking to start a career in trucking. Awesome CDL School
My experience with 160 Driving Academy was excellent! The ELDT training was very informative, which made the Classroom training, easy to complete! The site manager, Zach was very knowledgeable and very eager to help with anything that I needed. Also, he was very professional! The instructors on the yard were great and knowledgeable truck drivers in the past they gave very helpful ways to learn how to get your CDL! Scott and Derek were very good and helpful because they allowed me to make mistakes and figure out how to correct them after they gave me the proper guidance on how to do each maneuver once. Bill was a great yard Manager, although I will Say he should smile a little more because everybody really knows he’s just a big self teddy bear below that tough exterior🤣!! But no, really all joking aside they were all great instructors on the yard and a big shout out to chris the manager of several sites as well for showing me how to do the final maneuver!! And last, but not least the state examiners over at the other office are great people as well especially Bill my state examiner he was Great and a nice guy!! So if you’re thinking about giving 160 in Columbus, Ohio a try go for it I highly recommend them. Five stars is not enough.

My review is directly intended for Steve Gold. I give 5 STARS to ALL of the instructors at 160 Driving Academy: Lincroft New Jersey office/Freehold New Jersey Training Yard. First and foremost. I must begin with my initial contact to enroll, with the Lincroft, NJ. office. I spoke with Tiname, she is absolutely amazing! She has demonstrated a genuine caring and commitment to seeing that the Academy's students succeed. I have such an appreciation and respect for her level of professionalism. If I had a question or concern. If Tiname did not reply that same day, she would get back to me within 24 hours. Any issue that came up, she was on top of it, and it got resolved immediately. Tiname made the process smooth and stress-free. This was very important to me because at the time of enrollment and during my yard training. I was working 3 Jobs, actively looking for a new residence to move to and nursing my mom back to good health (which is ongoing), thus my delay in writing my review. I am so grateful that Tiname was the 'Gatekeeper' to my entering the 160 Driving Academy. Receiving my CDL is not just a credential for a trucking job. For me, it's a huge step into a career that's literally "A LIFE CHANGER". I am blessed with the opportunity to financially provide for and uplift my entire Family!! As for the 'keep it real' Instructors at the Freehold, NJ. /Brookdale Community College location: TRE - BARRY -JOE and MARK are GREAT! Bar none. They are committed, passionate, and very likeable individuals. They bring a collective wealth of knowledge of real-world situations in the trucking industry, to serve as a reality check to the vast responsibility we have to "Safety, Safety, Safety", on our roads. To be ever aware and conscious of this fact is of primary importance, and we as students thank The Academy's Instructors for the context in which their priceless guidance has been given. The instructors knew how to engage us in instruction and conversation, as we all have different ways of learning and absorbing the information that we were given. That's an impressive and acquired skillset not to be taken for granted. The instructors are No-Nonsense, but the many light moments of laughter that we've shared with them has balanced everything out. If I had to do it all over again. I would choose no other location but this one! I sincerely thank ALL of the instructors for "being there" not just for me, but for all of the students. I definitely chose the right place to get my CDL. I intend to "Pay It Forward" for future 160 Driving Academy Students. Steve, Happy 2025 New Year! And thanks for creating your awesome Academy. As we students helped each other to remember the script/required knowledge to pass our CDL Tests. We developed a sense of camaraderie in helping one another. I would like to thank the whole team at 160 in Commerce City. The school really helped me grasp the ins and outs of safely operating a tractor trailer. All the instructors were great. They all had different ways of teaching and that also helped to learn more than one way to look at things. Thanks again to the team.
