It was a great program. The instructors were very knowledgeable and always around to help. I passed my first attempt with no problem.
Class A school
Just want to let anyone who’s looking for a real good school. ( Truck Driving School). That Driving 160 Truck School, is a very organized, well experienced group of instructors. They practice their skills on a black top/verses dirt. They all have a goal. And that’s getting you to pass your Class A test. They have one instructor Rick. He’s a real asset to their company. Puts his heart into it. ( enjoys his work) Therefore creating a positive learning environment! Witch is crucial in my opinion , in making progress. Just want to thank Rick, Art, Scott, and Sarah in the office for being a professional!
James the yard instructor
James in Topeka did a great job teaching and helping me get my CDL. He aways went above and beyond to help up threw any difficulties. All around great teacher who knows what he's doing. I was very impressed how he handled situations he was left with due to truck problems. They have great teachers now just get some trucks that are dependable and the correct student ratios and you'll have a good class.

First, i wanna say I was at a school prior to 160 for a few months & did NOT know my pre-trip inspection. :/ So, I called and spoke with MONIQUE @160 Driving academy here in Memphis. Within a week, She got me in the NEXT class and I had the best experience! Nic, Doc , GARY, jay & Al. THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING. Keep doing an Outstanding job over there!! :)
The Best(all day long)
This is the best school I've been to hands down. Kisha is amazing. She understands how to relate to the students and break it down. I got my CDLs and it's all because of her. The whole staff is very professional and they make you feel comfortable. Kisha, Shannon, Nate and George are the best I've seen. They put it in your hand. All day long.

School was Great! Everyone was very knowledgeable and took the the time to help no matter the situation. The team treated me like part of the family not just another number. I would recommend 160 Academy to anyone and everyone looking to obtain ther CDL. It's really hard to say who stood out everyone was great and awesome at their job. Their lessons were engaging,useful,and they were very patient with everyone in class always encouraging students to try. I would highly recommend Rick,Lawrence, Gerald,Kelly, Luis, Dalton,Angel,Mr. Tony and Joe together this team stuck by my side and prepared for succes never gave up on me and made it a priority to reassure me that as long as I put my part in they would put in theirs. My exam day was last week and I was a one and done, I now have my cdl,my certificate of completion and job security for my family and I. Thank you Team 160 Academy all of you for everything!
