“From the start I had a very welcoming process. Marta made everything easy and simple and the initial registration was very quick. Once I made it to the yard, the instructors were very competent on the material that we had to retain. Archie and Petia were the first stop, they set the tone for what would be expected from us. I was a little overwhelmed with all the material we had to know and the different notes we were handed, but the constant drilling and reciting made it all second nature. Keith and Chino gave me the recipe to success. They both made the skills sections super easy. I enjoyed that part the most. Lastly Joel brought everything together he knows how to be serious and bring a lil laughter to the moment as well. Great team, the only thing I would hope that gets better is timing on when new student join the program. At times there was too many students and not enough trucks.”

In order to become a class A truck driver (a category that includes almost all tractor trailers), you’ll need to earn your Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). In order to receive CDL certification, you will have to pass the state exam.
For most students, CDL training is extremely affordable. 160 Driving Academy offers multiple support and financing options. We’re here to help you earn your CDL certification and achieve your goals.
160 will prepare you for your written exam with 40 hours of classroom instruction. You will also have 120 hours behind the wheel, driving on Local and Interstate roads and learning by observing other students.
